Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich Blast Gay Marriage At New Hampshire GOP Debate

So like most republicans, they only represent Americans that agree with them. No equal rights for anyone else.

More proof that republicans don't believe in the basic tenants of this nation like "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness", "liberty and justice for all" and "equal protection under the law" applies to all citizens, they rather give those rights to corporations than citizens. Despite all their flag waving they are horrible Americans.

With more and more states allowing gay marriages, the contemptible stance of MItt Romney and Newt Gingrich against such an inherent right for homosexuals should almost automatically eliminate them as viable candidates for the Presidency. Such stubborness and inflexibility would bring us back to the Dark Ages in the area of human rights. We don't need that in our national leader.

Marriage equality is not a special right. It is expanding and already available right. You would benefit as well as we, for your right to marriage would be expanded the same as ours. Just because you wouldn't want to take advantage of it does not mean that you do not gain expanded rights.

There is a big difference between civil rights for ethnic minorities and wanting to legitimatize perverse behaviors.

So, in your own twisted way, you think that obscene gay sex can be constued as the "pursuit of happiness"? As a supporter of "President Paul", you probably also think that smoking pot and snorting cocaine leads to "liberty". The founding fathers established this nation as a haven for those who love virtue and freedom, not a cesspool for perverts.

I'm really getting tired of the same old trolls trotting out the same lame arguments against marraige equality.

Luckily with 75% of the under 30 population supporting marriage equality, this will no longer be an issue in 10 years.

Apart from the many misinformed statements you have made, this is a fact you seem to be unaware of. In Michigan, it is illegal for public employers (public schools, state employers) to continue to extend medical benefits to same-sex couples. Our GOP lead government just passed that law. Luckily, state universities are exempt, or the U of Michigan would be emptying out. The governor isn't that stupid.
This means families, many with children, are losing health care benefits. That seem right to you???

No I think civil gay partners should have the right to medical benefits. Most companies in my state do provide that.

What you need to do is change your heading to "Love Thy Neighbor, as long as they agree with Gay Rights".

Maybe you are too blind to see it, maybe you are too stuck on yourself to believe it, but Lady you have been hoodwinked. You see the left is always telling us all we must make allowances for the Muslim beliefs, we must make allowances to this belief or that, but they never themselves offer any allowances to the Christian, he is automatically condemned, as you just again condemned millions you dont even know. Why because they disagree with those who would sell your votes to the left for this right or that right. Truth is Christians do not agree with you on Gay issues because their religion tells them so. Our country was founded on freedom and choice, not any one religion, no matter how much you wish it to be. See the First Amendment if you don't believe me. And, wonder of wonders, I'm a Christian and have Christian values, so they mean everything to me.
