Norton Requests Recognition Of D.C. Flag At National Ceremonies...

We just need to incorporate DC into Maryland. Problems solved they get representation they want and they just becomes another Maryland city just like Baltimore.

No way does Washington DC want to be another Baltimore Md. Mrs. Holmes needs to provide DC residents all of our constituitonal rights in full like our right to bare arms without restrictions and perhaps then work on gaining our right for a vote in Congress and Senate.

No way! No city flag displayed with the flags of the States.

Another pole can't be easily added as you'd have to shift all the other poles. I think this is a load of BS as if they agree to it then we'd have Puerto Rico, Guam, etc. would want poles.

Plus - to beat it all DC thinks their above the constitution and has resisted all attempts to assimilate with the other real states.

I think Holmes Norton herself would make a good flag pole. She certainly has the physique for it. Then she could finally EARN the taxpayers money for a change. An added benefit would be that the flag would be flapping in the breeze instead of just her lips.

No you don't, we have enough problems here in Maryland! Seriously - DC was designated as a Federal City, NOT as a State. Which Ms. Norton and others in DC government might realize if they'd pick up a history book now and then. As others have noted, if DC is included with the State flags, then we'd have to include all of the US territories, out of fairness. Too, with crime in DC through the roof, a messed up school system, the economy, etc., doesn't this woman have anything else to do on her job? Pathetic.

Thanks Adolf, I needed that laugh. That ape does nothing but complain but has absolutely ZERO positive ideas for actually doing anything. Norton needs to quit smoking crack with her homies! D.C. is a city and it does not rate a flag! Lay off of the rock and check the difference between a city and a state.

Why doesn't Norton worry about something worthwhile? I'm sure the hungry and abused children of her city would rather have a full stomach and some love, than to have the D.C. flag flying at the monument. With all the city's problems she worries about trivial crap like this.
