What took so long for an influential person such as you to boldly speak the truth?

Once we accept the truth about our people then and only then will we be able to heal ourselves. We as African-Americans have to stand up and change the things that plague our community, and as long as we sit and act like things are going to be allright orm someone is going to help us or even be conserned about us the worse things are going to get for us. We have to own the things that we do to harm us. We can't sit and complain or blame other races of people for our short comings. Thank you Dr. Cosby!
