Yeah now Independent Senator Joe Lieberman from
Connecticut, you had an easy ride as a Democrat
in a State rich in sophisticated recession-proof
hi-tech electronic Defense armament contractural
firms; and we saw you the last 8 years of straddling the fence with Republicans; finally cul-
minating in constantly being seen side by side with "war-hawk' Senator John Mc.Cain [R-AZ] at the Presidential 2008 election!
Now you know very well that the Survival of the
cunning sharp business practices Fittest, at the expense of the Survival of the industrious working American Fittest who entrusted their hard earned
retirement savings, to be fiduciarily stewarded
by Wall Street Investment Banks, as long term nest eggs, and inheritance start-ups for their kids, grand-kids, and themselves in addition to faithfully having Social Security/Medicare premiums
deducted from their paychecks, 1/2 by employers,
1/2 by employee over the last 30 or so years, did indeed added to the already Darwinism concept of 'the survival of the fittest, at the expense
of the weakest'!! Now both the middle-class, and the weakest poor are asking for Health Care Insurance Reforms in a time whence ~ 15,000 a day are losing employer-contributed Health Insurance
premiums, and the weakest ~45,000,000 rest have no Insurance at all!
So Senator Joe Lieberman [I-CN] from relatively wealthy Connecticut, you go around bad-mouthing
any Reforms; and expect to be relected by both the middle, and poorer class as once being a Democratic people's Party representative, and now
a Republican but masquarading as an Independent??!!

Supposedly he was McCain's original pick for VP, but when "The Party" refused, they gave him the choice of Romney or else.

He chose else.

Answer to 'A Watcher Jackson, GA #2': Albeit Senator Joe Lieberman [I-CT] was on the Senate Armed Forces Congressional Committee, and took several trips to the Middle-East in 2008, with
Senator John Mc.Cain [R-AZ] I never understood
why he expected a VP nomination when many felt
he was materially responsible for Al Gore, and his
sure win slogan " I will put a lock box on Social Security " losing the more critical Electoral College less populated but conservative States
voted for Lieberman Zionist leanings, when both Israelis, and Palestinians were at each other's throat after the Summer of 2000, when Ariel Sharon
walked on Jerusalem Muslim holy ground on September 23rd. 2000, barely before the return
of Israel's Labor Party P.M Ehud Barak, from tireless Camp David peace talks with the P.L.O's
ailing Yasser Arafat, President Bill Clinton,
and his Cabinet!?
I'm certain even Senator John Mc.Cain [R-AZ], and his campaign advisers realized that as long as
there was no Middle-East peace in 2008, Lieberman
would be just as much a handicap as he was to Al Gore in 2000, albeit the more tolerant larger
ethnically diverse cities/metropolitain regions
favored the Al Gore/Joe Lieberman [D] ticket in the Popular Vote count!{Senator Evin Baye [D-IN]
would have been a real land-slide winning combination for Al Gore [D.TN] who even lost his home State of Tennessee in November 2000} So go figure 'A Watcher'! Objective Political scientists will be debating that 2000 choice for a long time
as they will John Mc.Cain's pandering to women voters in 2008 with Governor Sarah Palin from Alaska, and 'pleasing' Cindy Mc.Cain no-end as she
never wanted to be First Lady anyway, favoring her career as Anheiser Busch's distributing mega-company's CEO, and contemplated merger with a
large German beer/wine distributor in 2009!

Haha. Here come the Leiberman haters. They hate Joe for not walking lockstep with the party apparatchik.

Sorry, guys, but you thought he was done when that fat lying bastard, Lowell Weicker, hooked up with George Soros and MoveOn. They sent in a cadre of out of state operatives to force deer-in-the-headlights Lamont onto Connecticut voters.

But Lieberman won easily because Connecticut has more Independents than any other class of voter.

Sorry, far-left ideologues and Lieberman haters. It won't work next time, either.

Endorse anybody you want, but history will not be
rewritten by a bunch of neo-conservatives, 2 examples ex Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan, who in
1993/1994 defeated Congressional plans to curb
in his own words "fraudulent' trillions of dollars in Hedgefund/Derivatives 'black box' unregulated
financial instruments, whose malignancy matured last Summer of 2008, and Senator Joe Lieberman[D/I-CT] fickle loyalties!!

Lieberman is a good man and he would do a much better job at the helm than Obama. Obama is lousy, let's face it. He's done nothing and has made everything worse.

Lieberman can be senator from Ct as long as he wants. Both Republicans and Democrats gave him a landslide victory in 2006.

Daily Kos lefties are an insignificant minority in Ct. Ask Ted Lament.

Far Left editor Hugh Bailey at the CT Post just blasted Lieberman for not marching to Obama's orders. CT should boycott that paper as Obama is trying to boycott FOX news and anyone else who gets in his way. Chicago politics has gone to Washington. How scary!

I don't think that's it. You can't trust him. Remember how he supported McCain? Then when Obama won, he cried like a baby and begged to keep his senate committee seat? Then, and now, he turns his back on public option which is a private health insurance plan with government regulation that will allow affordable health care for everyone. Not ONE health care insurance company went broke when regulated. Everyone in Connecticut should know that.

Lieberman is a self-serving turn coat. No honest, decent American can support that.

Chicago politics, my arse. Lieberman is following lock step to corporate America and giving away welfare checks left and right to them like the republicans ordered. he follows the republican party. he needs to get out of politics and go the way of all the republicans who give welfare to the corporations...a lobbyist. Then we need to ban lobbyists.

he's not serving the nation of American workers and families. he's serving corporations. That makes him a republican.

Haha. Like I said, here come the far-left ideologues and Lieberman haters. They just can't stand it because he doesn't walk lockstep with the far leftist/progressive/collectivi st/statists who now run the Democrat Party.

Because of his position on the war in Iraq, the national Democrat Party tried to backstab Lieberman through that lying bastard Lowell Weicker and his hand sock puppet Ned Lamont. They sent a large contingent of out of staters into CT, courtesy of George Soros and his MoveOn gang. It didn't work, and Connecticut Independents joined with both Republicans and Democrats to return Lieberman to office.

Lieberman didn't "beg" to keep his seat, he was offered it as a bribe to continue voting with the Dems.

And anyone who calls the so called "Public Option" a "private" health insurance plan is a bald faced liar. It's a Government run program that is designed to gradually eliminate private insurance.

And the only "turncoats" are Obama and the Democrat Party, who have turned against America in an attempt to install their totalitarian Marxist progroms. They are doing their best to destroy everything that has made this country great in favor of their socialist "utopia."

There are things about Lieberman that I dislike, but he's head and shoulders above any Democrat in his Statesmanship.
