Gun controll only works for those who abide by the laws, this whack-job would have used anything to obtain the same results, machettes, axes, nailguns, gas bombs, whatever.

Actually gun controll only works AGAINST those that abide, criminals will still keep their guns regardless.

Obama speaks of a "void" in young people and the necessity for parents to do something about it. It doesn't dawn on him, that it is his own and Leftist policies in America, which have given young people that void, which Leftists try to fill by validating drug use, sexual deviance and rejection of traditional religious values. This has only created a larger void. When will Leftists wake up to their destructive influence and orientation? Politically, it is only the Leftist inclinations to control, that benefit from these horrible acts of violence. They immediately say the cause is guns, when they are the cause with their sick, depraved engineering of vacuous human values.

Didn't have episodes like the Aurora shooting prior to the ban on assault rifles.

Obama is right to go after the Guns now. Once Americans realize the horrific impact the Health Care Bill is going to have on their families it is going to get really scarey out there.

Pelosi didn't think any one cared about accepting worse health care for their families. She knew Californians won't object if Dems say lower quality and availability is all their families deserve. But, Obama is smart. He knows most Americans aren't like Californians. Most Americans will stand up for their families if out comes get really bad.

You've got it all screwed up dude.

If the concealed carry laws were relaxed there would have been armed law abiding citizens in the theater that could have shot that red headed idiot before he got off more than a couple of rounds.
Think of the lives that could have been saved!

America should empower honest people to defend themselves in view of budget shortfalls cutting back on the police and fire department staffing.
When honest law abiding citizens are armed and ready, criminals find another line of work or end up dead.
