Being from Calif. I can't tell you how much this is needed. Living down close to the Mexihole border it is ridiculous the overwhelming fraud being committed by these border jumpers. They walk around like they own this country and that we "owe" them free medical, rent, food, etc. That is total bull crock. It is not the American taxpayers burden to carry, it is their own country's burden.

Ca. is a perfect example of why illegals must not be tolerated.

I still hope Ca. goes bankrupt. They asked for it and deserve it.

I hope you're talking about our government, because lots of us didn't ask for it. Just as I assume PA citizens didn't ask for their steel mills to be shut down and sent overseas. GO STEELERS!!!:)

Yes definitly the government. The Ca. citizens will survive. The illegal trash must be put in a position so they self deport. No jobs, no social service, no way to rent etc.

The pols must start doing AS THEY ARE TOLD by America and enforce the laws, or be "deported" to jail.

The american citizen WILL be heard.
Good job to all the californians who screamed and yelled. Im so proud to see how much progress we are making towards this huge issue. It is so long overdue. The gov. didnt listen for a long time, but I believe that the current economic situation has also made this a MUST.

I don't care if the entire state signs this act, life will continue the same as before !
They would have a better chance joining the MEXICAN GOVERMENT AS A STATE ?

Nothing more than the same tactics used in the South to maintain lawful racism (segregation)- likely to meet with the same level of success, too. I guess I would be a Scalia "originalist" on this one - guess what folks - your state law attempts to regulate immigration are unconstitutional.

Ok, so, after they have the 450,000 signatures, they will vote it?

So, the laws in Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Oklahoma and Arizona are unconstitutional?

Horsesh*t. Your hyperbolic nonsense won't fly here. Take your race card and wipe your ignorant a** with it.

Immigration is what this country is all about! Why all the racists? There is so much for everyone here, why all the racists? Everyone should have the same chance! If you block one group, that is racism!

Yes, if the initiative gets on the ballot it will be voted on statewide for a yea or a nay.

Problem is, If amnesty is given prior to 2010 elections, in reality, the initiative would do very little, or no good at all.

The Dems know 2010 could turn out to be a tough election year for them. So they will be looking for new voters to keep them in power.

IMO, They will push for amnesty as soon as possible, and voter rights too. Then, one way or another, the Dems will have ACORN take care of getting the newly amnestied illegals on the Democrat voter rolls.

Guess what azzhole...Not only are these laws CONSTITUTIONAL...but they represent the will of the people!!! My state of Georgia has become one of the TOUGHEST states in the nation to live as an illegal alien. If you are illegal you can NOT do the following...you can NOT get a Georgia drivers License.....you can NOT open a bank account with out a valid ss#(giving a false or stolen ss# to a bank in GA. is a felony, and they DO check the ss#'s here!) in most places you can NOT even rent an apt. if you are illegal...yep,the leasing office checks ss#'s on EVERY ONE! E-verify is alive and well in Georgia. I would also like to add that Georgia is well within her rights to make living here as an illegal alien as difficult as possible. One last thing...the State and local police out here can and DO enforce immigration policies and Georgia deports people on a daily basis! Out here if the police pull you over...EVERY adult in the car must produce valid state issue I.D. If you can not produce a valid form of picture I.D. you will be taken into custody until they find out just who in the hell you are. Georgia state law makes it a misdemeanor offence to not carry some sort of valid I.D. on your person at all times and it is up to the individual officer to either write you a $45.00 ticket...or take you into police custody to run your fingerprints. This law is only inconvenient to wanted persons or you guessed it....illegal aliens! Georgia applies this law to EVERYONE to deny civil liberty groups such as La Raza from making claims of "racial profiling"

The only group thats being blocked are illegals...Hispanics make up the majority of illegals but this is not about race...it's about the fact that you have to stand in line like every body elese or you get sent back. Why do so many Hispanics think they have a right to just come over hear without going through immigration? Unless you are a LEGAL immigrant, you don't have ANY fuckin rights in this country! So racist or not thats just the way it's going to stay.

If they push for amnesty, this will also seal Obama's fate for a one-term presidency.

I personally don't think this country/state will still be standing by 2010 if amnesty is passed.

I get the feeling that things are going to start shaking pretty soon if changes are not made.
