I'm sick of the "don't do this and don't do that" police state we live in. So many rules! I'm tired of it already! The City Council just wants to make it against the law to do anything - stop it! Just stop it for the love of god!

The trailers are a nusance to local residents. The owners park them in front of people's houses which often takes up precious parking spaces that may be public property to begin with, but in a practical way are there for use by people visiting those houses.

How would you like to have the parking in your house taken over by someone thinks he can make money by putting a billboard there? When he advertises things you don't want advertised in front of your house, like Viagra, will that make a difference to you.

I'm surprised more people don't flatten his tires and steal his trailers, or at least tip them over. If he ever parks one in front of my house I think I'll tow it to my local police station.

Right on and well said. Brucie Boy is one sick dude. So people, let me ask you a question.....would you hire a person like this to install your alarm system??? BTW, he does NOT own the company...his mother does, because he's had his license taken away by the Southern California Alarm Association. There are so many complaints and law suits against him and his company that it's a miracle he's still in business.....yep...mommie financed. His alarm business is all but gone and now he's making money from renting these trailers! Wanna get to him? Every time you see a trailer, whether it's his or not, call him and ask a stupid question. Flood his phones! Then call the company that uses him and tell them you will never used their company because they think so little of the neighborhood they are parking them in!

I'm sick of looking at these on Woodman Ave. 5 signs in a 3 block section. Enough! I'd like to vandalize them! Spray paint works wonders; according to local gangbangers. Hey! Let's hire the bangers to graffiti the signs for a bounty.

What kind of freakin' article is this?

It starts by addressing the problem of mobile billboards,
then meanders into the state legislature,
and then winds up talking about musical pets.

Good work, Daily News.

Here's a solution to all those upset with the billboards:

Pull the valve stem out of the tires, flattening them.

No harm to the tire,
just a little 'inconvenient payback' to the owner.

Pulling valve stems takes time and even though it does not hurt the tire, that type of action is easy for an onlooker to spot and might cost you a bundle if the owner sues you for th cost of a tow truck.

I am surprised more folks don't just stab em with a sharp exacto knife in the sidewall. It would be harder to spot them doing it, and the tire would be unrepairable. By the time the tire went flat the person who stabbed it would be long gone.

Takes 15 seconds to pull the stem.

Most valley residents are so self-absorbed
they don't take notice of what's going on around them.

Do we agree on that?

These billboards are another form of graffiti. Why should Councilman Zine discuss anything with this person. The councilman should change to the laws to make legal an immediate tow-away and fine of $500. Why do we have this problem in the City of LA? I never see these signs in Calabasas, Burbank or Santa Clarita.

Boyer has gone off the deep end. No one wants to see his portable trailer signs. I know I have complained and called 311 mutliple times.

They are the topic of complaint after complaint at many Neighborhood Council meetings. I agree with Zine. His flagrant violation of the law would dispell any rumor that he is attempting to legitimize his advertising efforts.

Well maybe with his threats of showing up everywhere Zine does he will deemed a stalker and be out of our hair for a while.

The trailer signs don't bother me, you see higher concentrations of them as more and more "no unhitched trailers" signs go up (at taxpayer expense) reducing the areas they can be parked legally.

What bothers me is the "bandit signs" posted on telephone poles or roadside, of course the city doesn't do anything about these because it's much easier to go after the trailer signs and unlike the bandit signs where most of the time the "advertiser" is a shady web site registered anonymously it's easy to get money out of the trailer sign operators.

You think Woodman is bad with 5, take a ride on Topanga Cyn. between Parthenia and Plummer. Only one there that I don't mind. Its for a seniors apt. complex and its right outside their own building.

But isn't there a 72 hour parking limit on public streets?

LA is just a third world city run by bought off politicians, corrupt developers and business men. The main difference is that Boyer does not payoff the politicians as the other billboard companies do

Tip them over without damage

Buy California bonds. Interest from California bonds is tax free. California bonds are great. Get in now before the large institutions. Bonds are the greatest thing going.

The above is not an offer to buy California bonds.

Daily Horoscope for December 12

Gemini

If you were planning to get a lot done today you'd better lock yourself away from every other living soul. That's because it's a day when everyone you meet is immensely chatty, and you're also in a garrulous frame of mind. It's fine if you don't have anything else to do, but it will be frustrating if you're trying to get on with the chores and you keep being interrupted. Try to be considerate if someone else is up to their eyes in work and you're holding them up.
