Judged: 1 I totally agree, we need more States like Arizonz when it comes to the illegal situation and handing out freebies! What I don't understand is some people just don't get the impact supporting all these illegals have on our economy, in more ways than one! |

Judged: 2 1 1 No prejudice here, I promise. But when I see people marching on the state capital carrying Mexican flags and crying Viva Mexico, it irritates me that some will turn around and complain because they can't get public assistance without ID. If it's Viva frickin Mexico, then ask them for the assistance. |
Right on! |

"Conservatives traditionally don’t like the idea of national identification cards, citing Orwellian “big brother” fears. Those same concerns aren’t always held when it comes to trying to keep illegal immigrants from getting jobs or welfare benefits.
Some Arizona Republican lawmakers have introduced new bill at the Legislature requiring those receiving food stamps in the state to have a state-issued identification card. They would then have to produce that card and another form of identification when buying groceries via the assistance program." Who are these Americans who are so willing to give away money to people who are in the country illegally? Traditionally illegal aliens don’t like the idea of producing driver licenses when pulled over by police or having their cars towed away for not being insured. |
Wouldn't that be discrimination? That is unfair to the legal citizens of both states. |
|
It is only fair that they should. I have no problem having my finger prints on file. Same with DNA. But then of course, I would hope that all labs that do DNA testing are accurate. LOL. Those who fear Big Brother usually have something to hide. |

I agree! |

I will even take it a step farther. I think you should also have to show ID (proof of legal citizenship) to even go to the food pantrys. Our church runs a food pantry and most of the people who now come in there cannot even speak English. Might sound harsh, but we get tired of running out of food when there are people who actually do need it and it is going to people who work the system instead. |
