I didn't take anything from anybody. My family immigrated here legally in the early 1900's.....legally. Went through Ellis Island, had to have a sponsor, didn't get a free ride, had to learn English on their own.

I think it's horrific how the Indians were treated. But I and my family had no part in it.

A lot of the continent was uninhabited before the European arrival.

Spaniards settled into what is now Mexico in addition a big portion of the Americas and they

Once a government was established ,immigration laws were enacted and followed.

That is the major difference between then and now.

I think everyone in America understands that Arizona likes to side with its Republican leadership. Reality is that, these Racist comments are exactly what is driving America into the ground. I am NOT an American, I was born in Mexico, but I LOVE this country, it has given me everything! And I want to give the best of me back; I have received no "free rides" like many of you like to call them. What I have is ALL through hard work and determination. I am sick of having to defend where I come from and who I am. I feel sorry for all you who post these awful comments that encourage hate and dislike for others. Especially for you "shine4me." Lincoln was talking about slaves, who were brought here against their will. Illegals were not brought here against their will; they are sociopaths who sneak into this country like thieves in the night and follow no laws whatsover. Each and every one of them deserves to suffer such merciless agony that they would eagerly get the hell out of here and go back to where they came from.

I have to agree the first 10 words you wrote because it's the current law but it should be changed. After the first 10 word the drug fried brain must of kicked in. We all don't happen to be Irish and remember the first ship to come to these shores was a lost Italian on a Spanish ship sponsored by the Queen of Spain. Sounds as if maybe you should repeat the third grade again. Did you just say racist? My father is of Mexican heritage. I've posted here before on that. My Father's family has lived in the region when it was still Mexico.
