And the huge revenue streams generated by megachurches were not even imagined when governments began giving free rides to parsons and their tiny church buildings. Tycoon pastors should not build their empires without paying their fair share, same as every other entrepreneur...

This has been going on for years - Georgia passed such mandate regulations back in '99, for instance. I know of no evidence that it caused a massive, nation-wide rebellion by the Right or by the Catholic Church, either. At least TWO courts, in cases involving Catholic Charities, also found against the Church on this issue. There is no freedom of religion issue here. This is a question of fairness and access to contraception for women. End of story.
