Attorneys for an Arkansas woman who threw away a winning lottery ticket worth $1 million say another woman who plucked the ticket out of the trash and claimed the jackpot should be forced to turn the money over to the court.

Everyday I see beautiful things that people just chunk. The things never hurt no one they are just unwanted. It makes me sad to come across an Elmo someone just discarded, so I give all the unwanted things a home. I think this should teach you garbage dumpers to keep your stuff and quit polluting the world! Let the woman who worked for it have it!

Seriously, what did her opening defense statement sound like? "I didnt mean to be that stupid?" Really can anyone honestly tell me they can not figure out if a scratch-off ticket is a jackpot winner? However, if you honestly cannot figure that out, then do you really think you should be playing a game that "complex"?
