Please vote for Mark Holmes, Doug Hornsby & Tyler Barnes in the upcoming elections Aug 28 or by mail in ballot (if Joe Van Bunch even mails them out to the customers!?!?!). The lineman need all the support they can get. Keep Mark Holmes on the board, he is the only board member that sided with the employees during the strke and got them back to work.

I heard that Mark Holmes found some dirt on how the committy was treating the employes, is why the board run with there tail tucked. People of Arab Electric Coop we need a change and Morgan is not on your side, I heard Joe Van Bunch funded his running. That tells me he is hideing something.
It's time to take a stand LETS TAKE OUR COOP BACK.

Keep all remarks clean and right will prevail. Mark Holmes seems to be the type of man that needs to be on that Board. Doing what is right even though, among his peers, it may not be the popular thing to do. We need more men like him on that Board - to do what is right - and make our Coop strong - One to be envied by ALL. Getting a Board dedicated to doing what is right and already having dedicated employees will make a dedicated Coop - that will be Good for the whole ares.

That's right, he cares less about the safety than a turtle crossing a 12 lane interstate.
The customers have almost doubled, but he does have out of town contractors in there. This means the scabbs by the name of Mastec pay no light bill, they come from different states, and of course, ole Joe has done it again !!!!!

Seems what that Board needs is Men willing to stand up for what is right and men with integrity. Vote for Mark Holmes - Integrity and willingness to stand up for right. Vote Doug Hornsby and Tyler Barnes for Change - to also be able to stand up for what is right. We need men who are more interested in the good of the communities the Coop serves and the good of the customers and the moral and good of the employees. Our Coop needs change - lets work for what these three candidates stand for and fight for Right.....

In most every conversation I hear about Arab Electric its something Joe Bunch has done. Either the man is a genious or and idiot. From the things I hear I lean toward the later.
If I caused as much trouble where I work then I would be fired. If this man is the problem can he not be fired? Besides how can he run AEC when he don't even know when to mow his grass without the police and city having to make him.....LOL

You've got to be kidding me. Please don't vote for tired old, broke down, senile, Coach Morgan aka Fred Flintstone. His school career came to an abrupt end because of several alligations of misconduct against students. Our coop needs a more younger and educated board to bring us into the 21st century. We need someone that can let the coop grow with the community instead of keeping us in the dark ages. We need someone to represent the public and the coop employees not Joe Van Bunch.

Maybe the city of Arab will also look at the Mayor's race next, if Gary Beam lets Steve Hallman campaign on city time and in a city owned truck for the perverted Bulldog Morgan , then he needs replaced also.I just don't understand how and parents in their right mind could vote for Horgan the way he has done cheerleaders in Arab. In the 70's he was making the girls go to the field house and do crap to pass classes. He's nothing but a piece of crap and apparently Joe Bunch think's it's cool!!!! Wonder where Ole Joe would be right now if the pretty secretary he had a few years ago would have pressed charges against him for his nasty remarks instead of quiting her job.!!!!I remember all this Joe !!!!!!!!!!

You would think he could be fired, that is what happens at any other properly run business. However, the word I have been told is that he had a 'contract' signed many years ago. From someone who was on the board at the time, promises that it says the Coop will have to pay him millions of dollars to get rid of him. People have been asking to see this 'said contract' for months now, and apparently it is a document that no one seems to be able to get their hands on. If it doesn't say that, then there is no reason to not bring the document out. Sure does make one wonder doesn't it....

Morga's add is WRONG. Fifteen employees are not trying to run our Coop. All any of the employees want is for the Coop to be run efficiently and for the benefit of the customers and the employees. Some of the board is upset because the strike was settled and contractors (from out town) were not brought in to take the place of local people working for the Coop. One Board member told the rest of the Board the exorbitant spending to keep the employees from getting benefits had to stop. Spending on security, lawyers and contractos - money that could have been spent for the benefit of the coop, employees and the customers. Money that could have flowed back in to our local economy and not wasted elswhere. Vote for Mark Holmes, Doug Hornsby and Tyler Barnes. Board members that will stand up for what is right and fair for ALL concerned.

Yes Morgan's add is wrong more than once. I bet their are more than 15 employees at the Arab Coop and I am sure their are more tha 14,000 customers. Looks like if Morgan wanted to run a business he would at least get his facts straight. Guess that could be an indication of how he would run things if he were elected. How could he expect to run something productively when he is already talking bad and demeaning about half of the employees there. Bet that would really boost everyones moral and make them want to work really hard.......... Think about it. Vote Holmes, Hornsby and Barnes!!!!!

Brokedown Lineman is the type to throw the first rock at a labor conflict. This toothless Bulldogs is ruff and tuff when there a bunch of Chihuahaus egging him on. The fact is that this cooperative is a business and has to be run like one. In any company there will always be something like using contractors that the radical few doesn't understand or like but if they looked outside of their Arab bubble they would see that this is a practice used nationwide as a cost cutting method. REC and OSHA frequently audits cooperatives for operations and safety and if something was out of line,it would be corrected. These folks spewing accusations and half-truths are part of the problem instead part of the solution. If you don't like the manager, remember the replacement could be a nightmare. The old saying goes"You don't know what youv'e got until you lose it".. Think about that.

This immature ranting ,raving, finger pointing, accusations, and he said-she said is putting your red neck intellengce out for the world to see. If you have positive written documentation, photographs with dates, names and places, sworn affidavits from your sources, then be a man and go to the board and follow proper channels to get the problems solved. You want to go to battle and then hide behind a tree. Grow up!

In all honesty and fairness, there are two sides to a story. We've heard from Brokendown Lineman, so it would be nice to hear an alternative point of view, esp one with facts to back it up. I don't know JVB very well, but what I do know of him, he seems to be a decent fellow, in what little dealings I have had with the man. I'm not on the JVB bandwagon and not saying that some of what Brokendown Lineman is stating is untrue, I'm simply wondering if some things have been blown out proportion or exaggerated a bit. I'm thinking there may be room for improvement on all sides!
