The Sims 2 Apartment Life Expansion Pack for PC and the Sims 2...

Hey I bought your sims2 Apartment life but theirs a
big problem with it won't install I have the right system requirements but it won't install I Windows xp so you people need to fix the problem.

it tells me that I need to install sims 2

Yu definintly need an expansion pack. I got one and its all fixed. =)

i have the same problem but i have no idea wat to do after i put in the code because it just goes blank

Hey, you can buy it wherever you bought youre expansuin pack. It doesnt HAVE to be the original becuase the original CD is also sims 2 deluxe edition which comes with nightlife included

I am trying to install apartment life but after a l..o..n..g..pause of nothing it tells me that i have a blank disc in my drive....whats the deal..?

i have the exact same problem! it says the disk is blank... WTF

You should go to best buy and look for THE SIMS 2
that is all it say you have to have that game before you install any sims 2 game

I bought this game in Walmart and after it gets to 6% theres a pause and then it says theres a problem transferring. What's the deal?

you have to have the main sims 2 game to instal expansion packs. u get the sims 2 at walmart

so I can't just go and buy Sims 2 Apartment Life Expansion Pack

how do u get even the menu to pop up? i put in the disk and the computer siunds like its running but then nothing happens. what do i do? pleeeeaaaaazzzzzzzzeeeee HELP!!!!!

i have the same issue.
there is no auto play on mine and it says that there is still no disk in the drive.
i have never used a dvd-rom before only cd.
it's in my dvd player drive but nothing happened.
ive looked on tons other sites and still nothing.
is there any answer?

for the apartment life game... how do u get the menu to pop up?

i dont have the menu either...

does anyone know what needs to be downloaded changed or anything to get the dvd drive to read it?

my dvd drive is a Samsung DvD-rom SD-616T

is there any update or anything i should download
i have xp not vista,
and about 4 external harddrives so my memory for sims is fine i have.

im not that great with computers but im not terrible.

i just dont know really anything about dvd-roms.
how can i make my drive read it and install it? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me im desperate to play the sims. and im stuck and it's driving me crazy.
