'The coach said Giuliani "flipped his putter a few feet to his golf bag" and drove fast while leaving a golf course parking lot, according to the lawsuit. Giuliani also was accused of playing a team football game harder than the other players liked and of being disrespectful to a trainer'. That's it??? Pro NFL players choke their coaches by the neck and are treated like heroes and misunderstood goons. What up, doc? No Al Sharpton around to help him.

I have yet to hear of a single person associated with Duke University that isn't a total and complete jagbag. Let me know if you find one.

There is something real weird going on at Duke University. Last year my older daughter went there for a campus visit and got on Duke's mailing list. We were inundated with Duke mailings which intended to impress us that they have NYC hip-hop (?) wannabes going there. I also got solicited for a donation and told the sweet thing that the impression that Duke made on me was such that I would not send my daughter there (and not to hold their breath for either a donation or an application). The Giuliani kid is as strange as his father. On what basis other than notority and money did they take him in?

Wait a minute! Is Andrew that goofy fat blond kid who wouldn't shut up during Giuliani's swearing in? If so, once a brat, always a brat.

Wealthy spoiled brats do not throw tantrums, they throw lawsuits. Rules that apply to us do not appy to them. They have never been taught responsibility or how to be accountable. That just applies to their minions.

A 198 page lawsuit was filed ! I wonder where this kid is getting the legal help and who is paying for it? No wonder Rudy has no comments. Just another father helping his troubled son ? Sort of reminds me of the senior George Bush bailing out his son numerous times.

Hey, count me in too! If only suing would stop it from happening to any other person. I, like tens of thousands (or more), or talented athletic mid-westerners was discriminated (ignored) by high school coaching so that I gave up on my life identity too early, only to discover later in life, that I indeed found the greatest joy of my life was practicing and competing in sports. Would it be that I (and others) could sue to state our case, better believe there'd be uncountable and never ending suits by the end of the week (if not sooner). Sorry to say it, but just because your father is the ex-gov or N.Y. and you have a photo op with Tiger Woods, doesn't make you the loan victim worthy of filing a law suit...or maybe it does?

The kid is one of the worst golfers on the team and the coach can't kick him off???? His best finish ever is 36th in a college tournament - and he wants to go pro???? Good luck This is why our courts are bogged down by frivoulous lawsuits....

Sorry about the spelling/grammar errors in the above, but you get the point I hope. We're all screwed over by dimwit sports coaching in H.S.(driving ed instructors on the side) and college. If you've got the talent, I believe its up to your familiy to help nurture you to the professional level, not the local or state school. In other words, those who have the real, superior, capable of being a professional athlete will find a way... We all know the story of MJ being cut from his High school B-ball team.

Real List

"His season competition average was 74.5, good for 12th best on the team." 12th best on a 13-14 person team?!?! And he wonders why he got cut...
"Giuliani also was accused of playing a team football game harder than the other players liked" Too funny. I picture a bunch of skinny rich boys running around, flailing their arms. Then, when tackled, they burst into tears.
"Andrew Giuliani, a 22-year-old who will be a senior this fall, contends he had dreams of becoming a professional golfer..." Funny, this is really no different than the inner-city kids who dream of becoming NBA stars that everyone mocks. With all the opportunity Duke has to offer, you'd think sonny boy would have a fallback or something.
Regardless of how this turns out, sonny boy is on easy street. Pops will get him a cushy, high paying job regardless. In the end, the joke's on us.
