Heard that guy Mike Berkus on the radio this morning, and there are three words to describe him -- creepy! creepy!! CREEPY!!!

Time for adult men to grow up and leave Bartman alone.

If it were me, I'd show up and take their money. Let all the idiots who really believe Bartman cost the Cubs anything spend their money to see him.

The Cubs melted because they were not mentally tough. They met adversity and it kicked them where it hurts. They didn't have the heart or smarts to overcome. I am a Cubs' fan, but this blaming of Bartman has to end. But, I think he should take their money. Let the suckers line up to buy the picture.
Alou would not have caught that ball. He knows it.

Yes, I agree. Bartman, as any sane person knows, did not cause the collapse. I think Alou's reaction was more out of frustration than thinking he was really going to make the catch. However, if it were me, I would not show up for any amount of money. I wouldn't want to feed the hungry media.

Dusty didn't know how to handle the team which lead to the total collapse.

What they should do is when/if the Cubs make it to the World Series, Bartman should throw out the first pitch.

Steve, if you read this, real Cubs fans aren't mad at you and don't blame you for anything. Alou wouldnt have caught the ball. That piece of tape is going to be the only way Alou gets into the Hall Of Fame.

25 grand just to show up and sign a picture? Any sane person would take the money and run. Bartman would be a fool to not show up.

I'd sell out for a $5 Metra ticket and a wad of chewed gum.

$25K can buy a lot, including a little bit of life.

Do it, dude.

I would take the money, but then you have to think about what kind of nutjobs will be there. By nutjob I include the people making the offer.

Bartman is in a tough position. There will be a backlash from Cubs fans if he tries to profit on what happened.

Do it Steve, take the $25K and screw them and what they think. It wasn't your fault anyway. BTW, only do the deal if they throw in season tickets for the White Sox.....

It's kind of refreshing to me that Bartman isn't some loudmouth swaggering opportunistic type who would have taken this 15 minutes and turned it into his own personal franchise. That said, I advise holding out for $50,000!

Backlash...they should have paid him for ruining his life. Everyone else has profitted from it why not him.

Do it Bartman...You deserve it.

I heard he is a Sox fan now. Then someone told me he was always a sox fan. He loved what he did and that he has season tickets to the Sox and he was happy he finally go to see a world series in Chicago in 2005. That is all I can say.

Yep, by the time it's taxed he'll see about $15,000. Hold out for $100,000, Bart Man!

Bartman is a nerd. Who wears turtlenecks and AM/FM radio's to baseball games and is under the age of 70? He went to Notre Dame though, so it doesn't surprise me.
