I know for a fact that Chelsie was working(she may not now) at a daycare facility here in alamogordo. Clearly, you're just upset at the fact that Chelsie may have been "the star." You;ve seen her dance... She is a great dancer, and is very passionate about it. Get off her back and grow up.

Dangit! I quoted the wrong one in my last reply! I meant to quote the one that someone on the inside was quoting. So that was not aimed toward you just so you know :)

First of all I would like to commend Pam Vega, pam you did a wonderful job on your writings. I will post one last time, this is getting out of control. I was involved with showtime because of my daughter I loved helping as much as I could. what you all dont understand is that my child loved to cheer and dance and as a mother i loved watching every performance that she did, nationals was awesome that is something lorrie gave my child not saying that she could have not done it somewhere else but it was here in alamogordo and I thank Lorrie for that. Now there is going to be good and bad in any buisness and for anyone to say that all buisness run great you are in the dark, Lorrie has learned a lot running her studio and I bet sometimes she wished that she could crawl in a hole but she didnt. I have made a lot of friends that i will keep in my heart forever, I am not only sad that my daughter will not be dancing again for a while but I am also sad that I will not be seeing my friends on mondays and wednesdays.now for Danielle and enlightened mom who are probably the same person you can talk about me all you want I have 3 beautiful children that work very hard for what they do i do not have time for TM and I thank god that she is moving and I wish her daughter well. TM knows the truth and she knows all the mean stuff that she did while she was in the studio and she is the one who has to live with that. On a better note all the people that were involved with showtime even if you had bad times I am so glad to have shared all of these opportunities with you an d I hope to see you in the future at our new dance studio one day. Please do not fall into the hands of all these ugly people I can just speak for myself and I know that my daughter loved the studio and no matter if I liked, loved or hated Lorrie it was for my BABY..

Grow up like her. Did you look at her writings. This is all getting out of hand but people know what she was up to. Keep defending her in time the truth always comes out. see ya |
|
Grow up like her? If she's such a bad person then why do you keeping fueling the fire?Obviously you want a rise out of her. Congratulations. You got one. Why not focus on the good things from the studio rather than keep saying what bad people ran the studio? Clearly it wasn't that bad if its been around for so long.... Just saying. |

Jennifer I would have to agree. This has gotten way out of control. Individuals took a beautiful statement that Pam wrote and turned it into a b**** session. People have even went so far as to use it to critize others, calling them names and those are some of the individuals we call parents and friends. What really matters is that most of us joined the studio for our children to fullfil their dreams. At least that is why I did. It wasn't to be in the "elite" or to keep up with the Jones, cause believe me I couldn't if I tried. I am also glad that I made new friends and saw old ones from the past. Those moments will be cherished forever. Thanks to all who supported my children, and became my other family. I love you all.

After reviewing the remarks posted yesterday and today, I am reminded of a story I would like to share.
I am coaching soft-pitch to a group of 7-9yr old girls in Tularosa back in the 70's. Our team is loosing to a rival team - also from Tulie, and the emotions are running high. The kids are crying between innings, and bats are thrown after every out. I call one of the little girls aside and say "Honey, do you know that it is wrong to call your team and the other team nasty names?" "Yes, coach." "Do you realize that it is wrong to call the ump names and throw fingers at him?" "Yes, coach." "Do you know that you cannot throw things and curse when someone strikes out or makes a mistake?" "Yes, coach." "WELL, GO UP IN THE BLEACHERS AND EXPLAIN THAT TO YOUR MOTHER!!" hahahahaha Life goes on....Have a great day, ladies. Love, Pam |

glad to see someone else gets it! it was for the kids; not us. It breaks my heart to read all the negative comments, name calling and outright attacks on individuals. Time to move on. And for those who do't know what happened with the court case; perhaps best to leave it alone and not open old wounds (or maybe not so old) |
|
leave it alone |

Bev I totally agree........the court case issue actually is noones business. What's done is done and we cannot change the past. We must look forward to the future. Sorry the not so old wounds are there for you. It was not easy for you nor Sam, but you handled everything well. There are alot of people who are behind you and proud of you for standing up not only for your family but the studio as well. Take care! You do have the love and support. Cheryl |

Name-calling- Did your Mom teach you that too?
Let's go back many years ago, when you and your cohorts hung outside that old garage your Mom called a studio. Many times I saw you and your boyfriend making out, remember lying on the hood of a car? Or making out backstage at the Flickinger? Or being left alone in your Mom’s hotel room with your boyfriend. Would you like me to continue? Very young girls- who at that time thought you WERE a role model witnessed all of these incidences. I DID tell your Mom and she did NOTHING about it. COWARD- perhaps you might want to re-think that one. I did stand up to your Mom when she turned a blind eye to what was happening in her studio. Want to guess what happened to my daughter and me? My daughter was an innocent by-stander in the conflict between your Mom and myself. Your Mom took a little girl who admired her and loved her unconditional and threw her in the trash like garage. Then your Mom began to spin a web of lies that has finally consumed her. Your Mom is closing the doors because she “can’t handle the stress of ownership.” I guess she no longer has other people to run her business for her, that’s how she has survived for that past 10 years. She had free coaches, managers, custodians, taxi services, office workers, advertisers, web designers, babysitters, photographers, caterers and the list goes on. I do know many things about Showtime, which is what has you all riled up. The truth hurts and now finally the destructive path your Mom has left behind her has engulfed her. Up to this point, I have held my tongue and not shared the many damaging facts I know about your Mom and the way she (trys) to run her business. At one time I did believe she had a wonderful place for young girls to grow and develop self esteem and courage to face the world and I was proud to be part of that BUT when my family was damaged by this woman- I saw her for what she really was. A self-fish cutthroat who was willing to do anything to stay on top. I feel sorry for you, always have. I hope being married to a Marine will help you learn a few things from the Marine Corps- like integrity. |

it was for the world comp in 2007. we as parents had just returned from orlando/nationals and had 24 hrs to accept a non-paid bid to worlds and 3 weeks to raise 20-30 thousand $ to get the kids back to compete. A kind man from texas offered to sponser the team and the parents paid for them selves. It was an amazing gift and all worth it because the kids earned!!!!! their world title. the sad thing is most of the kids and parents have never even met the gentle man who whishes not to be named. There was even an article in the National Cheer & dance Magazine about this that you can read |

It doesn't feel good having to defend yourself against false statements does it? Just because you say it, doesn't make it so. You accused me of stalking JC and now you post it like I really did it. I think at this point if there was any evidence at all that this was the case, the police would be involved.
So in your reasoning, if you post true information about someone's activities, you are stalking them. Wonder what you call posting lies? Lets call it, "Queen's gonna get herself sued and loose that thriving business". I think I'm going to pay your husband a visit. One last think, you can't go around picking fights with people and then when they fight back, pull out the "autistic children defense". Do you know how many times you have done that?
|
Love you too! |
|
you forgot a few others: loyalty, honesty, living up to your lies, oh big one telling the truth. |
|
You do plan to move and live with your husband at his duty station.??? Or are you going to live with your momma the rest of your life and be a professional cheerleader? |

My daughter was a part of the non-competive hip hop groups. She was a member for over two years and at the end Lorrie still did not know her name. Her favorites were the little ones and of course the showtime favorites (competive teams). Even when we were members, if we saw her in the grocery store or around town, she would turn away and not even say hello. She is an overgrown teenager who is still playing the high school games. It was all a popularity contest. I will agree there were many who benefited. You are part of the lucky ones. The rest of us paid our monthly payments and watched from the sidelines. What happened to being a team?

What about the stories of a 20 year old coach having an inappropriate relationship with a 15 year old dancer?
