So what is up with rumors that a new stadium will be built in St Paul by 2010 which will include training facilities for youth as well? Many of the youth soccer clubs were gathered to come together and play under the "Thunder" name with the promise of this new stadium/facility. Was it all talk and now has been scratched??

A privately funded soccer specific stadium is still in the plans. It's just a matter of gathering the investors, getting the land, permits, etc. And it sounds like that won't be ready before 2011. Where? Who knows. There's been several St. Paul sites mentioned but not a lot of movement from the city or county on getting any of them approved.

Lagos said "people will drive to watch GOOD soccer.' I'm confused,so the Thunder Won't be playing there? LOL.
