Kevin,
" Where are the stories about un-educated black people who are voting for obama just because he is black."
My friend, as a black man I absolutely agree with this question?
I think the worse thing that can happen to any city, state or country is for people to elect others soley based on race.
Unfortunately, race was brought into this election race by the media and by others trying to help their canidate win.
Which is really unfortunately.
Because on merit I think this could have been one hellava race the old gurad vs the new guard.
On this point we totally agree. I'm not voting for Obama because of his politics, not because he is black, and anyone who votes for or against him strictly on race are morons. As far as new guard vs. old guard, I have always thought of McCain as left leaning when it comes to the Republican Party. He is very different than most people think he is. i love how they keep saying he's a bush clone, which in fact he has battled Bush on many issues in which they disagreed. i ws never a fan of McCain's but after listening to him recently, I have come to realize he is just a more experienced person than Obama and his values reflect the way I feel. I'm sure there are plenty of Obama fans who feel the same way. it just depends on what you truly believe to be right. Bush is villified to the point that a lot of left-wing people want to see him jailed, or even killed. That is so totally worng on every level. I hated Bill Clinton but I always respected the position and always never doubted that he was my President. Even if you don't like Bush, if you are a true American, you would still repect his position as President. The things they say about him, are so vile, that anything the Republicans say is mild compared to the hatred that the Democrats spew.
