12 game requirement

My son's Team was unable to get 12 games in this season due to weather. They did get 10 in. My son was called up for an additional game to sub. He played 100% of EVERY GAME, even the game he subbed in. Does the game he subbed in count towards the 12? League age 9, is he or is he not eligible for All-Star selection if he subs in another game?

Even after the playoffs, it was only 10 games?

We just started playoffs yesterday (yay for the win!) my understanding is the 12 games need to be played in the regular season, is this not correct?

It's not just him that's considered ineligible. I think it's the whole league. If they didn't get 12 regular season games in, then they technically can't submit an all-star team into the tournament.

I don't think its something that gets called out too often though.
