Warner Robins is doing very well. With Purvis and company, they're going to have a very good shot.
One of the toughest teams they might've faced in the regional from Miami, FL just got kicked out of the tournament for cheating, so that's some good news. Warner Robins was a great TEAM last year, but they were not a powerhouse by any stretch. It will be extremely tough for them to repeat as the Southeast region champs. Are the coaches the same?? As for South Lake Charles, did they beat Lafayette twice yet or is the final game still to be played? |
They won state.( i have a lot of friends on the team. I play with Beay, Bryce, Justin, Kennon, and Trey. I missed the all star team by 1 vote |

Warner Robins American has made it to regionals and look very tough. They have 3 flame throwers and a balanced hitting attack. Payton has grown to 6'2" 170lb and hitting mid 70's with his fast ball. They also have a big Lefty 5'9" 160lbs A.J. and another hard throwing righty Cody Carter. The Defense is better than last year, with Hunt in center, Jones at 2nd and Jackson on short. There catcher Griffen Marting has been catching world class pitching since last year because Clint Winn was on his league team and this year he caught Payton and Cody.
There toughest competition in Macon Ga. was against Vine-Ingle. Northern and Murphy Candler were the competition in State. It is going to take a great team to beat this team!

Last year's team played way way over their heads to win the whole thing. I don't see Warner Robins making it this year, and as for the pitching staff, they tend to give up 4-5 runs every other game, so I don't know how deep they actually are.
We'll see. Good luck and congrats on dominating Georgia. I think Florida's representative is going to be strong this year. |
