Let me say this as a Thoroughbred Fan of 40 years, Zenyatta, is in the company of that of Secretariat and Forego, both known as "World Beater's," (basically superior come from behind horses) a term in racing not used since the 70's. I'm on the east coast and have witnessed Rachel Alexandra, who is one of her kind in her own right. But she is not Zenyatta, and has lost two races where Zinyatta has not. Take nothing away from Rachel, but we have been blessed with two marvelous horses both filly and Mare. It's just a shame both gal's will head to the breeding barn so soon but unlike male counterparts they can only produce so many foals and time is of the essence. What a beautiful day for Thoroughbred Racing..... Hopefully our suffering sport will benefit by this.... May I say God bless to the Moss's, Sherriff's and most of all Mike Smith and last but not least Zenyatta..........
