Why doesn't Halsey Minor buy a significant minority position in Churchill Downs, Inc. and then help Churchill Downs buy and restore Hialeah ?

I am so proud of Halsey Minor! Willing to spend his own money to save Florida's Most Beautiful Historical Horse Racetrack! I grew up near Hialeah & I loved going to the track to see the Majestic Horses and Famous Jockeys race. I have missed the tranquility Hialeah gave us City Folks on our days off. I pray John Brunetti will agree to sell Hialeah to Halsey Minor. It is the ONLY HOPE for this Extraordinary Historical Racetrack!
I know for a fact, if Halsey Minor does purchase Hialeah, He WILL have the community and many other Horse Lovers backing him!

I would love to see Hialeah Saved. Santa Anita is about to be divided again to create another mall and Hollywood Park will soon be lost to developers. The beauty of the old stately parks is vanishing. No more trees, no more grass, no more open walking rings for the horses. Trees, grass and space are good for people and horses.

America is about to step into a new age, one were piece, technology, and human importance, ingenuity, and awareness will co exist in tranquility. GM has a hard time selling cars because i think they truelly dont understand america. We of america constantly search for happiness, fulfillment. Maybe its because we constantly look for something we have lost. But at the same time can be rediscovered in the past. The past is what i think alot of americans want, simpoler times, memorys that can all be rediscovered. If GM sold a truck that looked like a 64 apache c-10 but harbored new era technology under the hood, without the "how bad do you really want it" price, or made a sedan that truelly looked like or resembled a 62 impala for a fair payment i dont think they would be in the trouble they are in rite now. Horse racing can recapture a newer young and old fan base. The same way GM if greed, ignorance, and ego were put aside could recapture thiers.
Hialeah park in its hay day was south florida and american racing at its finest. A structure, in my opinion of great segnificance. Seemingly a mix of bohemian art decho look, with a tropical american, latin feel. After years
seemingly in excile this track will with hardwork and its community rise out of the dark in renaissance of old. The "buena vista social club" if you will of thoroughbred racing, Iwould work on this project for wages, if given the opertunity, Just to see the jewel shine agian. I think i have found what i have been looking for the past!!! Roll me a cohiba and lets check out the card!!! Your fellow countrymen, breeder, horseman and racing historian/enthusiast

I think churchill has a hard enough time trying to figure out calder, The answere "Tropical Park"
churchill downs inc. has went public, forgetting the public. Sounds like an oxymoron, no, its what many corporatists have forgotten, the importance of "us", "you and me", and concentrate on your wallet not your happiness. For instance, I own a contracting company, excavation, grading, demolition, often times re-using the very asphalt and concrete I take out, crushing it and using it as ABC base, or natural aggregate driveway surfacing. "I love what I do, I am happy at work, I might enjoy being a bloodstock agent a little more, but that ocupation with the raising of our family at present seems out of range! But to be honest I dont make a whole lot of money, I just make a living, and truely enjoy my work. Since I have enjoyed my work, the money has gotten a bit easier to come by, I worry about money now that things are slow, but at the same level depressed a bit wene I sit home with nothing to do! Calder like many tracks just seem to give you action, not an experiance anymore like they use to. Of course not all big corps are shallow and just care about your wallet. Disneyland/world is in my opinion successfull, in scale because kids feel "important", like they are appreciated, and not just a dollar $, money is important in any business, but at the same time I think if you are happy with what you do, and your client feels like his experiance was important to you, the money will come as sure as tomorrow will!!!

In short i get more happiness out of my work, and satisfying my customers, making them feal that thier job is important to me, as I do collecting checks. If you go out to the track and you feal that the track treated your experiance with importance you will be more abt to be a happier more satisfied horse player, "action" then turns into a memorable experiance. A feeling and experiance most new, or first time players/fans would remember and whant re-experiance!!!
