What a fabulous Friday night in Chico. The Almond Bowl game was a success for the entire community and not just for the thousands of us in the stands.

I would agree on all points, except to point out that the speakers aimed at the Chico High side were unbearable loud. In addition the music played over those speakers began everytime the Chico High band began to play. Hopefully that wasn't on purpose, but it just about ruined the night, especially for the families of the band kids!
What was the point of having taped music anyway, with 2 excellent high schoool bands present? This should be a night when we showcase their talents as well as talents of the athletes.
