Full story: Las Cruces Sun-News

Over the years, November has been one of the busiest months in my profession. As a high school sports fan, it could be the most exciting of the year.

We all know that Mayfield is going to take Cruces on Friday. I'm looking forward to the game even though it is going to be pretty one sided. It is Mayfield's game to lose because they are a far superior team this year! Last year was a fluke. This year Mayfield will set the record straight and ship those puppies off to the pound! Go Mayfield!

I expect LCHS to play with the same fire and intensity as MHS. Rivalry games are the toughest to predict.

Good luck to both schools.

It's always a good game no matter the teams records! One thing for sure you don't want to lose to your biggest rival your senior year! GO TROJANS!!!!!

This weeks game will be a good game as both teams know what the importance is for them. Last year was not a fluke, they got MHS last year, but it looks like the MHS kids are ready for redemption. If they can play like they did this past Friday, it could get ugly. But LCHS will try and not let that happen as they don't want to be embarrassed and face the consequences the NMAA could bring on Saturday when they seed the 5A teams for the state tournament. It should be a great game and hopefully LCHS will be better supported than Onate did last week for their game with MHS. Good luck to all the boys.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Sagittarius

Mercury turning retrograde in your house of finances carries a rather unseasonal message, because it's telling you to pay attention to your finances over the next few weeks. If you already know that you've overspent this month, you won't need to be told that a few economies are just around the corner. Get the facts straight and pay attention to the small print. You may also have to make some adjustments to an intimate relationship so it can move into another phase.
