I live in Northern California (2 hours north of Sacramento). A beautiful city called Chico, with a very long history in sports. As all of us know, things are tough all over. Our school district may be in the same boat next year. For those of you that live in this district, how could there have been anything done differently to prevent this? I know the levy tax was not passed and I this is very unfortunate. They say when you are in a recession you must not stash your money but spend it to help get out the recession. I feel it is the same way with this town. People need to invest in the community. Now people are going to leave this area and what good does that do for the economy and future? I would love to hear anyone's input.
