Hear, hear! Thanks, I'll do that. I'll keep you posted on progress. Thanks for having a positive attitude about becoming involved. Negativity is very contagious and harmful when it gains momentum. I think that all the students at RHS and all of the community have had enough negativity already.

So what is it? Butt out and move on or agree and do something? You don't make much sense. First you tell people that unless it is your kid we should move on, then you agree with nurse. What are you taking? On a side note I think it is awesome that community is rallying to FIX the issue at it's root.:) |

Good luck, nurse1. I think it's a great idea and I wish you all the best. I agree that SOMETHING has to be done to bring about change. Good luck to all of the good people that want to make it a better place for their kids.

They're allowed a loophole but you're not? Oh, brother. That's crazy. Maybe you can find a loophole somewhere. Good luck with your kids and I hope things get better there. |

First off, I know I'm not a parent of a sodomizer! Second, it is my business since Michael Demon Jr. has hasseled my child who is a female before. If he is capable of performing this heinous act on a male, I fear for my daughter's safety. Obviously these kids were condemned at birth and they will die damned. So you mind you're own business. I'll bet you're not a parent and until you are stop talking out your ear. It's people like you that make deliquent kids think they can get away with anything. |

Make sure Marty Chavez and Albuquerque P.D. get the names of these pyschopathic little goons. I'm sure they will one day make terrific Albuquerque Police Officers. They seem to have the right blend of twisted, perverted sexuality and sadism.
|
actually, from what i hear, they'll make really good las vegas cops and firefighters HAHA |
|
Too bad you didn't hear a positive comment about our PD and FD. One of my best friends is a cop and I've never seen a more dedicated officer, and I have a nephew whom worked as a firefighter here. I would see him get home covered with ash and soot and the burning smell all over him. He was very dedicated. Unfortunately, just as it the High School situation, six made the rest of students look bad. I know that's the same with the PD and FD. It just takes a couple of "knuckleheads" to screw it up for everyone elses reputations. |

That's true, statewide, unfortunately. They just need to get rid of the bad apples!

Did you even read the nurse's comment? Enough wit the negativity, let's move forward and remedy the situation. Personal attacks don't help anything. By the way, try reading for once! |

I'm sorry if your child has been victimized and if she has, YOU should have done something about it! I am a parent and I watch my children with eagle's eyes and protect them the best I can. If you're willing to damn these kids for this, maybe we all should be damned for all of our shortcomings, including you and your kids! By the way, my kids know better than to act this way, I'd give them a swift kick in the rear to start with. Maybe that's what they need, but not from you! |

Are you talking about Roberta Vigil? Can you say "Acquitted"? |

I did, hense the question, I have been reading. Nurse1-Have fun at the school board meeting, I sure hope all of you make some progress. Please do give us an update if you get the chance. |
The Robertson issue has yet to come to trial ... |

I cannot believe what I just read on your comment. I didn't say she was victimized, I said he hassled her all the time. It was more verbal abuse. When they had classes together, she'd say "white," and he'd say "black." He was always on the opposite side of what she thought and contributed to the class. He hated that she was always right, he hated her because she made look stupid, he hated that my kid was/is smarter. So he tried to belittle her with negative comments. When I asked my daughter if she wanted a meeting between them and the councilors, she said "no, I got this one." She knew that two wrongs didn't make a right and that one day he'd get his. Hey today's the day. And it all happened by his doing, now my daughter can go to class in peace and she got the best of him, even that is saying too much. She always knew that someday his ways would catch up to him and that would be his demise. See, sometimes kids are smarter. So parents listen to your kids, you just might learn something. |

I wanted to post a comment where the whole coaching staff resigned at RHS. But there was no place to put it. So I will write it here since this story is related. I am amazed that the very people whom were sent to the camp to watch our children, just waltz into the Superindentants office and simply resign. They signed letters of resignation and that is supposed to be that? All gone, all forgotten. No! That can't be it, they have to be held accountable for what was done to that boy and the other 5 victims. We as a community can't let them just walk away, and that's what we're doing. Their heads should be served on a silver platter to those victimized boys and their families. Had it been my child, no way would I just allow this to go away. Even if it might come to legal forum, keep it alive. People who will sit on the jury will read about this and hear about this, they are educated enough to know what is wrong and what is right. These coaches can't be allowed to just sign and walk away. Real people were hurt! This is not a T.V. drama story, this happened to your neighbor, my neighbor, it could have easily been your son, nephew or cousin. We as a community can't just let the coaches off without proper justice. We just can't!
