I have never communicated with you until now although I have always supported and agreed with your posts and the truth they contain.

These blogs are going to get uglier and uglier especially after the PSU contracts are voided next week. Possibly as soon as the first hearing concerning them on Monday.

A long time ago I realized there were very few people posting here who are capable of carrying on an intelligent debate. I must confess that I succumbed to that atmosphere as a result of my own personal contempt for what has happened to good unions, of which I have been a member of all of my, working life as a result of greedy and corrupt union leaders such as Kurt Henke.

I have come to realize that the atmosphere here has sunk to an all time low with the threats that have increased here in just 24 hours since the bankruptcy decision came down.

As a result of this, I am seriously thinking about abandoning my blogging here. I have done my job and have done it well and I don't think there is anything else I can contribute. I have said it all. Good, bad, intelligent, sarcastic.

We, the decent citizens of this city have prevailed. We don't have to answer to these thugs and never did. They seriously underestimated the power of an angry and fed up citizenry.

Curious after contracts are voided how will the negotiations on pay for police go now that unions don't have the leverage if you will? and will there be skilled policeman willing to work for what the city offers? Still have a mother and grandmother in Vallejo.
