I find it interesting that Garfield's status as another City Champion, the Invitational AKA 3-A Champion, has been forgotten or ignored in the stoy. This pretty much makes Garfield the "Undisputed" City Section Champion, don't you think?

Check the la times article. BHS had to two point conversion but refs said no until after the game when they saw the replay. BHS won that game. Stupid refs didnt count it

With or without the "controversy" you have to give it to Garfield for showing that they can play with the so-called stronger leagues. It's about time the Eastern league teams get the respect they deserve. Much love to the !PERROS! for representing the East Side.
ONE.

Last night I watch an underdog Garfield High School Football Team, "TAKE IT TO" the Biringham Patroits(14th in the State, 37th in the Nation). The Bulldogs were highly motivated by "ALL THE SMACK" talking by the Patroits on the Garfield Football Web Page. What was disappointing was the half-dozen Biringham Players that refused to shake hands with the Bulldogs, and walked off the field at the end of the game. Win or Lose, those players embarassed the "Football Program" at Biringham, Coach Corosn works to hard to have players act in that manner. Congratulations, Garfield High School Bulldogs for a hard fought victory and to the Patroit for a well played game.
