The McCain family has been of service to our Country for generations. John is continuing the legacy. He is a true american
hero and would represent us well as President.

The other candidates background is questionable.
1. Dumping his pastor of 20 years
2. Flip and floped re: guns
3. a felon as his friend
4. associaated with terrorist
5. his name is Hussien (why doesn't he acknowlege it)
6. where was he actually born?

Why is this section even here??? Hawaii is overwhelmingly voting for Obama, out native son? And to say that McCain is a life-long Maverick is a out and out lie... he has voted along with Bush's wishes 95% of the time. I love and respect veterans, but that does not qualify him to be president.

No kidding! Not to mention that the average local and even most of the above average ones couldn't name the current Pacific fleet commander let alone that John's father was one here like 40 years ago!

And in one of the bluest states there is! The only reason why Lingle got the gubernatorial nomination is that everyone was so fed up with Cayetano they were willing to take a risk on a Republican!
