It just shows how divided this country is and how we will never be able to join together and fix this crap. What's ugly is the fact that these are his own words, from his books... not something made up by the republicans. Have you read his wifes' writings? She's more racisist than he is! She's the one who said she has never been proud of this country, at least until hubby decided to go political... the very country that gave her hubby the OPPORTUNITY to run for political office. Why doesn't he and she both go to their beloved Africa, where btw Obamas' half brother lives in squalor, and get elected to fight for change there? Why - because there's no MONEY in it! Do some reading/research...

That seems to be all he's got going for him and he's got a lot going against him with his many questionable associates.

More to come:
VERY ALARMING DETAILS have surfaced about Sen. Barack Obama’s plans for our country, should he be elected president on Nov. 4th.
These radical socialist plans include the following:
*Giving drivers licenses to ALL illegal aliens in the U.S.
*Passing a sweeping amnesty program, giving citizenship to 12 million illegal aliens
*Giving a tax rebate [i.e. free money] to illegal workers here in the U.S.
*Dialoguing with terrorist nations and regimes without precondition
*Forcing banks to lend money to illegal aliens
*Registering illegal aliens to vote in EVERY state of the union
And those are just a few of the details known about so far!
My fellow patriots, we CANNOT afford an Obama presidency! Barack Obama’s unapologetic association with known terrorists, racists, criminals, and the politically corrupt may be the final nail in the coffin of our once great republic.

No. The present administration, whose policies the Rep candidate basically wants to continue, are immoral. We're talking war-profiteering, torture, deception on such a scale it's mind-boggling. As for turning into a socialist country, that's a bunch of rhetoric. Nor do I think you really understand what Socialism is.

This is all old rheteric, and we are tired of hearing about it, just like we are tired of the grumpy old man.

OK we get it...you are voting for McCain. Do you really think the garbage you spew is going to change someone to your side. You vote for who you want to and we will vote for who we want to. Then we will see who comes out on top. If McCain should win, oh well, we are used to the country being in the crapper, so we will survive.

If we are wrong, I hear there's another election in 4 years. We have survived bad presidents before, barely on this last one. The scare tactics aren't working this time, sorry. Now he has resorted to calling people with a message about ayers again, haven't heard anything but negative. I want someone who understands we have problems that need to be solved. I haven't really heard solutions from McCain....promises but he never says how he is going to pay for it.

Ok, your candidate who says he won't increase taxes, is going to tax the $5,000 you get to try to buy a decent healthcare plan....the government doesn't seem to be complaining about their healtcare plan, we as Americans don't deserve to have affordable healthcare? And I didn't say free, so don't go there either! He wants vouchers for schools, where are other solutions and he was the first on the band wagon to bail out the banks, that he had a part in getting them deregulated. He's been really proud of that fact, until now. This election is like any other, you hear things biased to person you support.

Doesn't matter Obama wins big in November for all the wrong reasons. The country needs a change and McCain is just too laid back, he needed to be more like Teddy Roosevelt. Man of conviction and one that did not take any body's garbage.

I haven't really heard solutions from McCain....promises but he never says how he is going to pay for it. And how do you think Obama is going to pay for his promises? Obama and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted for a tax increase on those making as little as $42,000 per year while the voting record clearly shows that John McCain did not vote as Obama and Joe Biden. He lied to America. Obama and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted with George W. Bush 90% of the time when you know that Democrats also vote 90% of the time with the President (including Joe Biden) because the vast majority of the votes are procedural. Obama is one of the few who has not voted 90% of the time with the president because he has been missing from the Senate since the day he got elected. While his absence from his job in the Senate is of concern, the greater concern is that he spins the facts. He claims that he will reduce taxes for 95% of America, but he forgot to tell America that those reductions are after he removes the Bush tax reductions. He has requested close to $1 billion in earmarks and several million for Acorn. His social programs will cost America $1 trillion per year and he claims that a reduction in military spending ($100 billion for Iraq) can pay for it. While his economic plan of adding 30% to the size of our federal government is of concern, the greater concern is that he is deceiving America. The drain to America's economy by foreign supplied oil is $700 billion per year (5% of GDP) while the war in Iraq is $100 billion (less than 1% of GDP). He voted against any increases to oil exploration for the last 3 years and any expansion of nuclear facilities. Yet today, he says that he has always been for more oil and more nuclear. He is lying to America.

It is time for America to vote for honesty. America cannot trust that Obama will put America first in his decisions about the future. Obama is not the 'change' that America deserves. We cannot trust him. Obama is not ready and not fit to be commander-in-chief. In a democracy, we get what we deserve. And God help America if we deserve Obama.

I believe Obama stated we would use our resources AND develop real alternatives...not burning our food either...to wean us off and eventually totally renounce having to borrow money from China to give to the Saudis. Then we can tell all the countries who hate but love our recycled Chinese money to kiss our American azzs!! Big picture people.

We already have public schools. And banks are already regulated and guaranteed by the federal government. So what's your point, besides semantics?

Their stock is owned by Americans also. No matter what ALTERNATIVE fuel you come up with, you will never get rid of the oil cos. They will always find the way to jack it also!
