what a shame....the addiction sickness can hit anyone...may God bless him and his family....

This is one dangerous, scary person. I think God should bless him right before we take him out back and shoot him. Whew!

He had his chance to be someone in life he obviously was going in the right direction (for a minute)then he decides to throw it all away...there was help out there for him to get-he chose not to-now he got what he deserved-I hope I don't find comments of "oh how sad" and " "poor guy" crap in here!!! Hes a loser PEOPLE!!!!

You are so correct! Here is a black youth who had a chance and blew it. Why can't the leaders of NAACP/Nah/Sharpton get it threw their thick heads that crime is not a way of life?

wotidew!....compassion runs like low tide here!....he's a college grad, so it's not like he never even tried....this is tragic on so many levels...thank God it's not moreso...he could have hurt, or killed someone.....trust me, i have limited to no compassion for those who never even try....this man, at one time, tried and accomplished.....hence, my sympathy and sadness....what further proof does one need that drug addiction is a disease.....this is not a life path he, or his family, ever could have imagined....

It's a self-inflicted disease. He's a college graduate - he should have known better. I have no sympathy for him.

aahh, if only he could run as fast as he could back in the good old days you probably wouldn't be reading about his arrest...

maureen, cracker jack....i seriously pray that nobody you know/love becomes addicted....i guess i once thought like you until i lost a once kind, loving and caring friend to drugs....no one has ambitions to be a junkie....having said that, thank God he's only hurt himself and he didn't kill anyone....

This is not a sickness that can hit anyone jackass!! Becoming addicted to crack is not a sickness at all, its the result of many poor decisions knowing the end result.

"wecome to bpt.", how wise AND classy you must be....first, NOBODY wakes up one day and just does crack, or heroine.....it's a progression....contrary to the bill maher's (sp?) of the world, experts site "gateway drugs" as the beginning of a slide down a very slippery slope...anyone who drinks a beer, or who has a puff of marijuana, runs the risk of falling down that slope....ANYONE, pauper, to millionare, CAN be affected by drug addiction.....again, i pray it never happens to anyone in your family....
