Doesn't matter if its Wisconsin or Michigan some one would have to travel to camp Randall or Columbus in December or January . If its a sec champ or a acc champ they would have to play in the cold. If the SEC was undefeated and the big ten or Pac-10 or what have you has one loss they would have to travel to Gainseville or Athens. Then the title will be played in a nuetral field. Not a home game like LSU in New Orleans. Or USC in Los Angeles. That would be totally unfiar for the visiting team to acquire tickets.

I agree about the home field advantage, but it's also about the money. The locations your talking about are big tourist attractions imo. The BCS is all about the almighty dollar and they do not care about game.

No one wants to play a bcs championship game in New York, Boston , Philly or Chicago in January. But I would love to see it. I would also love to see gas a 1.00 a gallon but that will never happen either.

Plus--there are enough crazed football fans to watch a championship game anywhere. Go Bucks!

Go Bucks! You have to make it yourself and it is still dependant on the cost of petrolium fuels! 99.9% Methanol needed for bio-diesel is still selling for about $4/gallon in bulk (you can get it for $1.5/gal if you buy it by the metric ton)($6/ gal singles) and it roughly takes a 20% mix with vegtable stock... Not to mention the cost of sodium or potasium hydroxate.... Right now if you buy in bulk you can make Bio for $0.80 to $1.20 per gallon... but keep an eye out on those methanol prices!!!

If they won't have a playoff after the bowls or during, have it before to determine the bowls. A #1 from each conf. earns a home game vs. a #2 from another conf. every year after the reg. season. Each year conferences alternate so it's always very different match ups. Then they decide who plays in the bowls. Not perfect, but better than now.

If OSU beats USC , UM , Wisconsin and Penn State they get there shot. If you want to see Buffalo Bills look at your record from the 1990's slapnuts. how many years is OSU going to be rebuilding......is every year a rebuilding year.......excuses.......lol

This 58 day layoff shit has to go. It is very hard to play a home team in a home game for the bcs title with that long of a layoff and keep it close. Why do you think boxers have tune up fights.
