In the end, only the SEC and ACC wanted to even continue the discussion of the plus-one.

There was no vote taken, the commissioners said, but the leaders of the Big East, Big 12, Pac-10 and Big Ten made it clear they did not want to move the BCS toward a playoff in any way.

Coming into the meeting, Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany and Pac-10 commissioner Tom Hansen had said they were opposed to the seeded plus-one format that Slive was to present.

Big East commissioner Mike Tranghese and Big 12 commissioner Dan Beebe, for the first time, made it known publicly that their leagues were also against moving the BCS in any way toward a playoff.

Interesting to see who's for and who's against moving forward!!!

Why do you think Parcels drafts guys from the northern states. We can play in any condition. It gets hotter in Iowa than it dose in Florida.

Both of LSU's championship where played in Louisiana. They should have a 4 team play off with the best records clinching home field. The bowl will be played in the south west or in the south. Lord knows what would happen when a kid from the south gets hit by a snow flake. He might go into shock.

The BCS will not allow the Buffalo Bills of college football to play in another title game, plus OSU wont make it this year........and GA has to get past LSU at home on the third game of the season.

Last Year was OSU's rebuilding year and they made it. I bet you would not have a problem with Oklahoma. If OSU beats USC , UM , Wisconsin and Penn State they get there shot. If you want to see Buffalo Bills look at your record from the 1990's slapnuts.

Big 12 gets to play close to home.

In three years OSU has lost only to two teams that did notr end up as national champions. (Texas,UF,LSU) They didn't lose to a crappy Arkansas team . They didn't lose to a overrated Auburn team. They didn't lose to a fucking horrible laughable Michigan team at home in a bowl. They didn't lose to Kensuckey. They lost to a solid Penn State team who ran all beat FSU. The n they lost to good Illini in a upset. Last year USC was hands above everyone.
