Welcome to Baltimore Flacco. You really showed your the man who can run this offense! Great Job!

whooooooooooooooooo!!!! Ravens win! Yeah baby! Joe is as cool as cookie dough! And how bout Ray Rice and LeRon McClain? The defense looks like apparent to the 2006 defense. Rely on pressure and lock up corners! McAlister looked excellent. The only bad part is that it should've been about 31-3 instead of 17-10, but i'll take the win. Also Heap dropped about 3 balls and we had a lot of stupid pentalies. Hopefully Stover will be better from long range. Hoping the Browns lose, beat down next week vs. Houston! See ya'll! Go Ravens!!!!!!

A win's a win, but I wouldn't take much confidence from this one. The ground game's solid, the D did well, and the OL handled a mediocre Defense. But you can't expect Palmer to have the worst passing day of his career every time you play him.
Flacco managed the game well, but this team doesn't need another Trent. He'll get much better - but there are going to be some growing pains. Oh well, enjoy the victory - it's sunny outside. I'd say crabs and brew's are on me - but I'm at home. So drink 'em if you got 'em. Won't be as easy next week. |

Flacco wasn't great number-wise but he got rid of the ball when he needed to instead of holding it for too long, he looked poise and made good decisions, not to mention I loved his touchdown run I was going nuts. The defense was great and that double reverse was awesome, so I'm pretty happy about the win.

Good to see all the posts after a happy day for our Ravens. Nice also to see Billick run out the clock instead of trying to add to the score at the end. Then again, he mentored Marvin Lewis during the latter's tenure in Baltimore as Ravens Defensive Coordinator...so I'm sure that gracious gesture on the part of Billick was appreciated by Lewis.

The QB finally has time, and people to throw to. It will now be a very interesting year.

good win pleasantly surprised I thought Flacco would be running for his life today , kudos to the O line

Its a proven fact, if you practice you won't play well. Heap looked horrible, drop passes all day. If he gets hurt again, put someone else in. Yes he is good, but today was really bad. Rice should be first string, the other guy with all the money he got is no where as good as Rice even though Rice had 2 bad plays. They were really enjoyable to watch today.

Bob, you do know that Billick's gone, right? Jamal, too (for two years now)...you mentioned him in a prior post. Or, you're just messin' with our heads... To me, the best things about this game were the O-line and the play calling. Cam stuck to what we did best while throwing just enough surprises in (double reverse, two left tackles) to keep them off guard. I do have to point out, though, that Billick ran reverses with Clayton all the time (some double, I think), with pretty much zero success...don't know what went right this time! |

Wow, you should ditch the black cloud every once in a while. The point is the Ravens have a good starting performance to build upon. Lets see if they improve every week like I think they will. Let's see how the season progress...we may even win next week! |

Josephus Flaximus screamed, "Are you not entertained??!!"
The crowd chants back, "FLAXIMUS! FLAXIMUS! FLAXIMUS!" Win the crowd...and you shall have your ring! |

An unexpected win is twice as sweet- even the Sun had us pegged to lose this one. Solid performance all around from those boys, and ice cold Flacco really does get better with every game. I can't wait to see what the future holds for him and the Ravens

I can't believe they won this one - they've had a rough time with the Bungles lately. The good thing is that Flacco made no major mistakes. He should've had a couple touchdowns: one where he underthrew Clayton who had a couple of steps on the DB and the one that Heap dropped in the end zone. But like some of the other comments mentioned, at least he didn't fumble or trip over himself. He actually looked very comfortable out there. If the defense plays like this, it may not be a lost season.
