What mental instution did you escape from? Who have the Titan's played? Three have been at home vs Jacksonville, Minnesota and Houston with Road games vs The Bunguls & an inept Raven offense. The Colts have the second hardest schedule in the NFL. In the long run clown boy it will help them win another superbowl this year. What you have to worry about is when the COlts light up Big Ben and the inept Steelers.

I couldn't agree with you more butter face, except I think it was girls dressed as boy playing football with men!!! The real Colts showed up!!! Say it with me real slow!!! GO INDIANAPOLIS COLTS, THE REAL COLTS OF THE NFL!!!!

Your the first person here that made any since to me! Seems like to me the soft team got slaped around yesterday. Colts are getting better every week, and just hitting stride! I feel for the rest of the NFL, GO INDIANAPOLIS COLTS!!!!

The only thing more embarrassing than the Ravens play yesterday is some of the idiotic comments posted here. I don't get the hate directed towards Preston, but I guess that's Baltimore -- or a disturbing segment of it.

Ravens fans, its time to face the facts:

1) It takes time for a rookie QB to develop. Flacco will probably be fine in 2009 or 2010, but he will not take the Ravens to the playoffs this year.

2) Troy Smith may be better at some aspects of the game, but overall he would not be any better this year than Flacco. That's why they named Flacco the starter for the rest of the year.

3) The cornerbacks are not NFL caliber. Not even close. McAlister and Rolle are over the hill and the others -- all of them -- are nickel and dime backs at best. None of them can tackle or cover. Its time to play zone exclusively.

4) The offensive line, when healthy is reason for optimism, but when not healthy, the QB needs to duck.

5) But, the biggest problem, by far, is that the offense continues to suck. It doesn't look ANY better than previous years. They don't threaten anybody. The Titans and the Colts committed 8 or 9 guys to stopping the run and the Ravens could not pass well enough to get them out of this defense. Every remaining team on the schedule will follow this same strategy against the Ravens. No team will allow the Ravens to beat them with the run again this year.

6) If Flacco or any other QB cannot find a way to throw the ball downfield, the Ravens may not win another game this year. Count on it.

7) Despite all this, Baltimore still has an NFL team. Try to enjoy it.

Can someone tell me where our play calling was; why our WR's are so predictable and why we cannot bring WR's along to be better? All defenses need to do is to have press coverage to take away the short, predictable pass plays we do 99% of the time, bring the 8th and 9th defender in the box to stop the run (which wasn't even that hard yesterday), and pressure Flacco as he is a rookie (no pass, but remember he is a rookie and played like EVERY rookie QB plays). And another thing - where is Todd Heap? Where are the 10-15 yard plays? Where are the deep routes Williams was suppose to bring? Preston said it best - this team looked like a Billick called-Boller played game.

Chris McAlister should be shopped after this season. Add Rolle to that, too. They're way past their prime.

Ravens have a bad habit of not wrapping up in tackling -- they think just hitting the opponent hard will knock them down. That's about as knuckleheaded as you can get.

Todd Heap has always been a mediocre blocker. That alone ruins his status as among the best at his position. TEs must do more than catch.

Baltimore fans are terrible. Two weeks ago they were printing Playoff Tickets and now they are ready to bring in Troy Smith and comparing the Ravens to the O's. Flacco will be fine. He got some much needed experience throwing to his receivers in the second half and hopefully this will payoff in the long run. Ray Rice also got some good experience. Nobody on here is kissing Flacco's but just keeping it real. 95% of all rookie QBs struggle. A lot of them aren't even good until year three. Look at Drew Brees. How about Jamarcus Russel. He's in his second year and Flacco is putting up better stats. Flacco had a similar line to Jake Delhomme yesterday and he a playoff team veteran on a good team. These idiots on here panicking and calling for changes need to shut up. We weren't supposed to be a good team this year. If we take our lumps with Flacco this year it'll pay off in the long run. Do you really think Troy Smith can take us to the playoffs? Of course he can't, therefore there is absolutley no need for a change and people calling for one have no idea what they are talking about.

Corey Ivy needs to be cut immediately. Not only was he getting toasted on the field but he had two stupid penalites on punts that went out of bounds or out of the endzone. How do you facemask and hold on fair catches? Both penalties gave us the ball at the 10yd line. Ozzie needs to be on the phone with Philadelphia trying to trade for Lito Sheppard. If we don't get another corner we won't win more then 5 games this year or next.

There are few players on defense that I wouldn't shop. Poor discipline and high salaries on that side of the ball...I'm for a total franchise face lift. I'd like to have a team that could win shootouts even if it meant our defense wasn't all that. Ravens are and will continue to be the easiest NFL offense to game plan against...that is unless we make major changes. Ozzie needs to go first.

For the record I was calling them garbage after their 2-0 start...and I am currently lobbying for Flacco to stay in there. This is and always was a 5-11 team. I'm hoping they can improve and go 8-8 or 9-7 next season...and then make a big run in 2010.

Clayton and Heap got open in this game. Flaccos just not hitting them. Doesn't mean he won't, but right now flacco is whats holding the offense back. He's not taking any pressure off the line and 5 yard passes wont move the safeties back.
They are not getting open consistently. Flacco was reading through his progressions well in the first three games and hitting the open guy. He is still looking across the field but guys aren't getting separation. Even in the second half when he piled up his completions he was hitting Williams and Clayon in stride but they had zero separation. Look at Mannings stats. He had guys that were literally wide open. I could've had 200 yds passing against the Ravens yesterday. They put Wayne in the slot and he was constantly matched up against Ivy and Walker. The Ravens never adjusted to this. I honestly think they put harrison outside to match up with McCallister thinking he may shut him down but that Wayne would be wide open in the slot. Imagine their surprise and delight when they saw that Harrison and Wayne would be wide open all game.

I hate to say this but I agree. I had myself prepared for a 6-10 year. If they stayed healthy and got some bounces they could go 8-8. Now we see that the health is out the window and they are not getting any calls or bounces so it doesn't look good. Next game will be telling. If they pack it in and get rolled we'll be 5-11 or 6-10. At least yesterdays game allowed Flacco to throw a lot and get some rythym with his other receivers.

Flacco was the only reason I kept the game on after the 2 quarter yesterday. Had they gone to the backup I would have been watching the much more competitive Skins/Rams game. Flacco had to have learned a lot by watching Manning destroy our defense...hopefully he took some of it away with him...if our coaches had half a brain they would have told him to focus on Manning in the second half and pick up some pointers.

I agree, Mannings passes were thrown to wide open players in stride. I can't remember the last throw to one of our receiverss where he caught it and wasn't touched immediately. No, none, zippo separation, ever.

isnt BS a FA at the end of the season? You mean a trade NOW?? This isn't MLB dude. NO major deals during the season and very few player for player trades in the offseaon. All usually are for draft picks. No way is Philly gonna give up a draft pick for a guy that can walk at the end of the season. When is the trading deadline? When is Sheppard's contract up?

With that said, I agree, "if" it could be pulled off, I'd take it.

Wow! alot of those other Raven fans are vicious aren't they? Total love- hate. Win, we can't be beat. Lose, hang em by their privates!
Glad to see a few looking at the big picture here. You win as a team and lose as a team. That's why it's so important to have substantial talent on both sides of the ball, especially the lines.

I'd trade Bart Scott for 3 dirty jocks...I lost all respect for him during the Pats game last season. No self control whatsoever...and he doesn't care about his team. When he leaves it'll be addition by subtraction.
