Congrats to a guy who makes it doing what he loves.
Only in the USA. |

Good on ya' bro.
Hey, I got an idea lets run an article about "punk-kids ruining a ramp park" in coconut creek and then two days later run a story about what happens when you let kids be kids in Coral Springs. I guess riding a bike is OK, but heaven forbid your little godless heathen decides to ride a skateboard. |

Doesn't anyone find it annoying that the author of this article: 1) Referred to BMX as BXM in the title, and 2) that the author confuses the reader within the first paragraph when she mixed up Barry and Mike? Maybe its the editor? Who knows, but at the least poor reporting.

Idiot sun sentinel writers. It's BMX. Not BXM.
On a different note, how about writing an article about young adults who actually accomplished something note worthy?? Big deal... he can ride a bike really well. Give he a peace prize! |
And I supose you made 6 figures at the age of 20.I'll bet you don't even have a job, living at home with mommy at the age of 35.You tool. |
Oh yeh "give HE a peace prize.Maybee you should check your grammer.tool |
Great story!
It is a big deal. He accomplished His "Dream" after all the bad things that have happen to him. F**kin Hater |
wow, that's great! he has his career all set, all the way to age 25 or so! Then he can work at a gas station. Why glorify losers who spin around on bicycles?
Exactly. This kid has done NOTHING for the community. How is spinning on a bicycle an accomplishment. |
Nice to see someone get paid for something they love...and to see a kid be succesful..hope he gets it all...
OH..stop complaining..or you will be late for your shift at starbucks..just because your life doesn't give you a 6 figure income doesn't give you the right to be jealous! My brother gets paid a high six figure salary designing and selling his software..having long hair, t shirt, shorts and sneakers as his wardrobe...as a kid he would rather spend time at his computer than getting in trouble like other people he knew taking drugs and drinking.. Now he lives in a mansion, paid for in cash, in NC and has 4 cars.. |
LOL! as do many "thports" heroes and rock stars, only to die of aids at age 40, broke. i hope this man child realizes this is just a SMALL phase of his life. i'd hate to rest on my laurels ... of spinning around on a bike ... for more than a couple years. obviously he doesn't sound so smart, living in a "mansion". he'll be foreclosed on within 18 months. |
alright, alright, after getting tons of angry comments at "eastvillagepoetry.com " i recant. it's great this kid scored his dreams. i hope he acquires new ones though. here's a hint, it should involve a girl, and a private bungalow.

Good things come out of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School! Good job. Keep up the good work.
Go Eagles!!!!!!!!!! |

Michael was friends of the family and I remember the good ole days he would come over for his favorite...Pillsbury crossants haha. I always knew he would be successful in life... He was all about saving money and planning on how to be successful. He has always been ambitious ever since I knew him at age 15. He is a wonderful, sweet young man who deserves praise and NO negative comments for his accomplishment!
I wish him the BEST!!! Oh and GO GATORS!! |

I met Mike Spinner when my son worked at the now defunct City Streets skatepark. What a great kid, always respectful and friendly. Do any of you people know how difficult it is to ride a bike on a ramp that was designed for skateboards? Do you realize how many times you fall from trying a new trick, if you had a clue you would be proud of this young man for the determination he has...I guess it is easier for people to criticize something they no nothing about....I say way to go Mike....
You are obviously immature & stupid... I would bet you have accomplished nothing in life worth praise... Grow up and stop hatin!! |
"Do any of you people know how difficult it is to ride a bike on a ramp that was designed for skateboards?"
No. And even fewer of us care. |
