whoopi goldberg is speaking from experience. she's has been in prison and turned her life around. "anything is possible thru Christ that strngthens me". she's a true sister that speaks from the heart who tells it like it is.whether u like it or not. she just don't sugar coated it. she reminds me of louis farrakan, bill cosby and oprah winfrey. people of class, dignity, desire, determination, and heart. that's what we're are lacking.

I like Whoopi. I think she well deserves to be rich and famous.

She has since disclaimed supporting Vick's activities, BTW.

Actually, Whoopi has defended BOTH Michael Vick and the people on the roofs of the homes flooded by Katrina, many of whom were waving Jerseys bearing the number "7."
I would venture to say that the people on the roofs of these homes would be strong supporters of both Michael Vick and Whoopi Goldberg.
OK, I am interested. Why would you say that? Could it be race? We are doomed!

That is such a distorted and racist view of the events as they occurred after Katrina. The city was under water... I know there was looting going on. But to be honest, if I were standing on my roof for 3 days waiting for my government to decide to take action. I would steal a bottle too, I think I earned a drink. Watching the city I grew up in under water... Don't be so stupid.
Please STOP! People were not stealing water. People were stealing everything else. It was the people that WASNT stealing that didn't make the headlines.

And, if you were in that situation, no you didn't EARN a drink. You would have taken a drink that you needed. What did you do to deserve to EARN a drink? No one owes anyone anything.
