You have to wonder, if putting "the hammer down" for the rest of the season is going to win him the championship then why hasn't he done that from the start of the season? Or if he has been doing it then why has it not worked so far?

Well, it seems as if the maclren pair have found some pace, and i have to say, its nice to see heikki up there with the big boys, although i am a lewis fan, it would be nice to see heikki up there and i hope he wins tomorrow! Reminisence of hakkinen in that kid!! Go Team Mclaren!!

Kovalainen is fast, driving style and personality seems to be very much like hakkinen, I have noticed that too. And he is in right team, McLaren is very good, although I think Ferrari is still one step ahead them. Another person that will be on covers is Kubica, and in the future B.Senna, oh I wait that.

I think heikki approaches each grand prix with the same attitude as hakkinen, i think heikki is more likely to be the furture of mclaren thank hamilton, hamilton is a very good driver but i do think that he is a little over hyped by the british media, we havent had a competetive british driver in F1 since damon hill, and now we have have one, the british people are latching on that, but i suspect hamilton is alot of hype, I hope that Heikkie steps up for the rest of the season and takes that mclaren by the scruff of the neck and performes as well as i know he can!!

Heikki has done an excellent job today, and is to be congratulated for his first pole position.
Hype doesn't enable a rookie to beat a 2XWDC, who had over 100 Grand Prix's under his belt, as Hamilton did to Alonso last year.

Mclaren have a strong driver lineup with Hamilton and Kovalainen, and they could possibly become one of the best driving teams in F1 today.

No he didn't you loony, they finished equal on points.....what alternate reality do you watch F1 in?

And you are right Lawrence hype didn't manage the fantasy you claim.......a very favorably team principle did.

What like he should be winning races in the best car on the grid.
Hows that one?, pretty watertight to me, or in your alternative universe is Lewis winning F1 in a kids peddle car whilst solving a Rubik's cube blindfolded?
