I knew the defense would play great,,was amazed to see the O line play this good ,and pryor matured a lot, of course is was easier when he didnt have to run for his life every play,

To all of the Terrelle haters that have been on these boards for the last few weeks pissing and moaning like a bunch of spoiled little brats can officially STFU now. It was thoroughly embarrassing to watch you turn on your own team after a couple of bad games. I would love to say that you've learned from this betrayal but I know I'm talking to brick walls. To us true and loyal Buckeye fans that have been behind the team the entire year: HOW ABOUT THOSE BUCKEYES!!!! Fantastic game - you went in to an incredibly hostile environment and KICK THEIR BUTTS!!! NICELY DONE GUYS... NICELY DONE!!!
The deal is that we havent turned our backs on our Buckeyes. I personally get sick and tired of Tresselball, and not coaching these kids up to their abilities. Its funny how the defense is incredible almost every single year and he doesnt "have a hand in the defense." But the offense is horrible in preparation, play calling, and execution when it matters. Why do we always play to the opponents level? Why can't we show up to play our level of football? Dont fire the vest, promote him to AD and bring in Chris Petersen from Boise State. He has his team ready to get some from the very first game of the season and every game until the last minutes of their bowl games. He plays to win. He attacks from every angle possible. Kelly doesnt impress me at all. Cincy gets smashed in their bowl game unfortunately. So why repeat the same mistake we have already made by keeping Tressel at head coach??? The Vest has been great with the wins in the rivalry, but other than that not too impressive. Especially of late.

This was the best Ohio State has looked in 3 years. One more victory and it's off to the Rose Bowl. Seems like a long time coming! Hopefully Pryor is finally growing up. Sure looked like it Saturday.

Good win for the Bucks. But let us all remember that OSU beat Penn State, who lost to Iowa, who lost to Northwestern! And the Big Ten is STILL a 2nd rate so-called major conference. So, lest all us Buckeye fans get giddy about BCS bowl bids, national championships, etc......let's keep this win in perspective.

I said not winning the big games are the result of coching. TP is approving as as the result of individual play from the whole team. Bad game planning as been OSU problem and the lack of imagination from the coaches.

This game proves the point!

They accomplished what they had to against Penn State. The Defense was superb and held us in until the offense could score some points. They were merciless in the way they handled the Penn State offense. We played an almost perfect game in that we didn't turn the ball over nor did we let them do much when they had the ball. We overcame the penalties that we had, but we have to find a way to stay penalty-free if possible against Iowa. I am more encouraged after this win than I have been since the USC game. I think the Buckeyes are ready for Iowa and Michigan now.

I thought they were going to let Penn State back into the game when they did not even try the field goals and that they did not try to put the game out of reach of Penn State. You could actually see tthe Pen State fans and team get confidence when they did not try the field goals.Would have been the time to get real game expierence for rookie kicker?

yeah and what makes you think Penn St. is so damb tuff??? They lost to Iowa. And Iowa has struggled all year long with teams that have crappy records. Other than Iowa they haven't played anyone. Thrilled to have to eat my 7-5 prediction !!!!!!!!!! Kudos to the game plan that didn`t 'run through Pryor'. Running attack that gave defense time to breath, and they were awesome. With an offense this defense is probably the best in the nation! HEYWARD! Will strick fear in defensive coachs from here out. Iowa crippled. Looks good there. Mich seems to continue to self destruct, but they will not lay down, too many 'days since Mich win' is eating at them, and they could redeem their season by destroying OSU`s. Seen this too many times in my 60 yrs. They are dangerous. They will be motivated. Could return to respectablity as long as offence doesn`t 'run through Pryor'. Posey long ball - he can,has done that - still poor on possession type passing.% still sucks. Which Pryor shows up Penn St, or Perdue? That is still the anxiety every snap. Have knocked Pryor bad. Will still have to see if Penn was fluck. No confidence, yet. Win out and they could - on strength of schedule - pass BSU, and I can flaunt my scarlet and gray in Boise. GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

A win is a win....however the defense play well special teams gave us field position but we still struggle running the football.One more week to make the O line a better unit and two more wins and the Rose Bowl? Go Bucks!

Awesome. The Silver Bullet defense does it again. What a joy it is watching OSU's defensive unit this year. Heyward played out of his mind. Total domination over PSU's O line. TP is growing and the offense is coming along. Over 200 rushing yards just what the doctor ordered for our O Line. We now have a chance to win our 5th straight Big Ten title and play in the Rose Bowl. Not bad for a team alot of people were writting off a couple of weeks ago. Thanks Coach Tressel for keeping our guys mind set right. I cant wait for saturdays game. Go Buckeyes!!!!!!!

Great game plan, great plays, great win. Now we need to keep the intensity for the next 2 weeks.

Way to go O line!!!!!!! Pryor looked good... heck even Boom played great. Aside from a few called plays... this game was great. Tressel did a great job.. the players came and played.

They still have a ways to go before the National stage... but we'll get our chance after we beat an injured Iowa team and crush Michigan!!

I'm fairly disgusted with several of the pessimistic posts on these pages prior to the game. I doubt that many of then are Buckeye fans. Win next week and its FIVE Big Ten Championships in a row. Get realistic people. The Vest is Best in the Big Ten. Oh yeah. Don't forget 7 (going on eight) BCS bowl trips in 9 years and the National Title. Relax people. The cupboard is full.

Another great win for Buckeye football. This was Pryor's best game of his college career, all things considered. Perhaps playing a Pennsylvania school was an extra motivation. The line play was decent and the play calling at some crucial times was pretty good. Overall both teams played pretty conservatively. If Ohio State plays at that level the rest of the season they will beat Iowa and Michigan for another big 10 title. Great defensive job again.

hey mister too worry about beating lugs in your own conference before you worry about the rose bowl. yeah we gave the game away to the little man on horse but u better pray u dont play us again. TP is growing up fast and ur pretty boy qb will get destroyed by the Silver Bullet defesne. It really wont matter tho b/c little pete will probley choke it up against UCLA.
