Jim wrote: Excellent coaching, much improved play by the OL and QB, awesome defense. Now let's stay focused, win out, and claim Big Ten title and a Rose Bowl win. Interesting to read the contrast between the pregame and postgame comments. Anybody still want to fire Coach Tressell and hire a "genius" like RichRod or Weis? I don't know anyone that suggested hiring DickRod or Weis but I will say it again and again and again, We need an offensive coordinator, a NEW OFFENSIVE Line Coach and an experience proven QB Coach to take TP to the next level. I find it interesting how the KOOL-AIDE drinkers dismiss the Purdue disaster but get all giddy over the ONE good solid game we've played this year. Let's hope this starts a string of 4 GOOD GAMES IN A ROW!

I lived in Pa. for 12yrs.but was always a Buckeye fan.PSU has a storied history, but as an independent they played a weak schedule.True, they stepped up to the plate when they joined the Big Ten and were known as the "giant killers"in bowl games but they're not as dominate since they've played stiffer competition. This year is a good example,a weak schedule early and folded against tough teams ,ie.Iowa and OSU. They'll always have a great program though.

I am very proud of our Bucks, they played really well. They have to continue this focus when playing Iowa and MI. I think they are finally maturing in to what we thought they could be.

I live in Fl and look forward to each game they play and do not even want to answer the phone unless it is half time for I never get to see the half time shows, just do not bother me during the game. Thank you for letting me vent... Sincerely; Priscilla SHT ESPN didnt even have it on here in N. Carolina until late into the third qtr. THE LEADER in SPORTS SUCKS!!!! Y would you even put an overrated Georgia Tech and Wake Forest game on abc or espn??? GO BUCKS!!!

T Pryor has finally trimmed his ego (and head) so that they both fit nicely within the confines of his helmet. Nice comments by TP for the post-game interview on the field, too. He is (slowly) maturing, and if he stays at OSU 2 more years, the team will be contending again for a national title.
Glad herbstreit got the O-line fired up with his comments on College Game Day. Kirk's comments were dead on, and the O-line had something to prove to the world...and they took that criticism and ran a truck through it!! And excellent defense, and special teams! The whole package yesterday. Now, let's throttle the Hawkeyes & Wolverines!!
Go Bucks!!!

yesterday was a great day for this team. we completely dominated penn st in every way you could hope for. the score should have been 24-0 because clark DID NOT SCORE. how in the heck can the refs replay clark score and give him a td? it was clear to me the announcers and everyone else that clark did not score. i don't know if it was just me but the refs tried as hard as they could to make every call they could against us. so we had the refs, the crowd and all of the football world against us AND WE STILL KICKED THIER BUTTS!

What a great win and fun game to watch for once. The defense was awesome which allowed the offense to play conservative (tressal ball). We should not have any problem with Iowa and Michigan if we keep playing like we did today. Rose Bowl Bound!
Bucks will make a run for the NC next year!!

Great game. OSU defense was supurb. It should have been a shutout as it didn't appear Clark got into the endzone on his 4th down effort.
The offense also came to play. I was impressed with the running game, but maybe boom is down again.
I wasn't sure, but I had my suspicions regarding PSU, due to their light schedule and the way Iowa took care of them.
All in all a good game and a great outcome.

we won despite all first down calls of "42 Dive". when they called something else (only twice) a touchdown and a 13 yard gain.

Looks like OSU won't be coming to Tampa to play LSU in the Outback Bowl after all. And if the Buckeyes beat the Hawkeyes this Saturday, they probably won't be coming to Orlando to play Alabama in the Capital One Bowl. Shoot. If us alumni and fans in Florida can't drive to the game and see our Buckeyes, they just might as well win out and let Iowa and Penn State take on the SEC while the Bucks crush the Ducks in the Rose Bowl. Go Big Ten!

What it Proves wrote: Penn State and Iowa are both over rated and will drop in the polls, Ohio State is a mediocre team playing in an even more mediocre conference, the rest of the county is finally realizing this. Any team can have a great looking season if they play inferior teams, which by definition is the Big 10. If OSU were even and average team in the top conferences it would have gone undefeated in the Big 10 this year. Sounds as though someone got their nose out out of joint because OSU finally put together a complete game and dominated PSU. So, of course, that means that PSU must be no good. Pathetic. When you have made yourself look like such an idiot in public, it's best just to cut your losses and keep quiet.

GrannyKay wrote: The Buckeyes played a great game. The defensive line did a good job. The touchdown at the goal line for Penn State should not have been a touchdown. He was not over the goal line. They should have reviewed that and I think they would have seen for sure that he was NOT over the line. Nice going Bucks!!!!!!!!!! They did review it, but like so many reviews this year they blew it again.

Best game yet for TP
Need more Ray Small every game.
Defense is awesome and is unstoppable when they get time off the field.
I didn't even mind the conservative play calling.
Tresselball still working.
Go Bucks

this is the first game where TP look like a real qb. then this is also the first game since 2002 where tressel offense set up the defense and took advantage of them crowding the box. we keep running and running then when penn st came up to the line TP play actioned them and threw a very nice td to posey over the top. it's about time we stepped up and played football the way, we all know OSU can play.

What's everyone having with their crow for breakfast this morining? I am eating crow and eggs. Tresselball works. It is conservative but it works. Tress is caling plays with the players he has. Pryor can't throw it 30 times a game yet. I don't mind the conservative play calling because it limits Pryors mistakes, like last year. TP will lead us to the promised land. Go Bucks

Love the Buckeyes.....but Penn State was a little overated, however I did pick Penn State to win this week. Not very often I am happy when wrong. Hate to look to far ahead, But the Michigan game is still going to be tough, almost always is.....Iowa, humm lets see who starts at quarterback for them, and can both sodes of the ball play as well Next Saturday against the Hawkeyes as they did today, if so, it could be a lopside victory for the Buckekes.Go Bucks...
