i do agree that things dont stay the same, as far as Florida losing to michigan, if you are proud that the team that almost won the big10 title barely beat the 4-5 best team in the SEC, then cool, take pride in it....but our second best team...i still think georgia was better....tore up your best team.

Georgia played Hawaii, the gators 4th or 5th best team in the SEC? Michigan almost won the Big 1? What in the world are you talking about my friend? Michigan hasn't beaten Ohio State in 5 years, Michigan hasn't won a bowl in 5 years until they beat the gators, last years nc's. Michigan lost to a Div 2 team, Ohio State was picked preseason at best to finish 3rd in the Big 10. What do you mean Georgia tore up our best team? We are the Big 10, not the WAC...wow.....somethings change, I quess somethings stay the same.

u know what i mean, LSU tore up OSU, Michigan barely beat the 4th team in the SEC, so in the end we still come out on top,

OSU is a fine program and the Big 10 is a fine conference. Obviosly the SEC has more parity, but the top 3 Big 10 teams are usually very tough. I saw Michigan play football vs Florida in a manner that they "should have" played all year. Florida wasn't a top SEC team in 07, but no excuses. A win is a win.
OSU probably was ranked somewhat higher than they deserved, but this happens to teams every season because of the broken BCS system.
The SEC was #1 in 2007. Conference strength varies from season to season, but it seems rather obvious that the SEC took the prize this time. I honestly believe the Big 10 will bounce back in due time; Zooks are coming on, Michigan stands poised to rock, OSU is solid, and Wisky (my favorite) is a proven team.
The parity of the SEC is a two-edged sword. It's great for rankings and bowl season, but it can easily bite any team in the @ss (see MSU vs Auburn and Alabama).
You all know me, well, most of you anyway. I call it as objective as possible or perhaps as objective as possible for an ole SEC homer! I think OSU backed into a NC game and the Big 10 had a down year or two, but 2006/2007 does not represent the Big 10 historically nor should anyone draw conclusions based soley from OSU's game play.
Yeah, I think the SEC is better. Hell, I think the SEC is the best, however I am not convinced by any stretch of the imagination that the Big 10 sucks. Far from it imo.

The Buckeyes torn up themselves, props to LSU for playing smart, but it wasn't due to LSU being the better team...as far as Michigan and the gators go...there is no such thing as barely beating someone. If that is the case Kentucky bearly beat LSU, Arkansas barely beat LSU, Sanford bearly beat USC, Pitt bearly beat WVA.....a loss is a loss is a loss....oh, LSU barely beat the gators, LSU bearly beat Alabama, LSU bearly beat Auburn...but of course you don't count those do you my friend...as far as I am concerned (which doesn't really mean all that)2007 season has a BIG * on it....SUPER TEAMS were paper tigers, the Buckeyes rose because you SUPER TEAMS weren't super at all, so if that makes you feel like the SEC is on top...good for you. no. If all the preseason top 10 would have taken care of business we would remain at best #10 or #11. After "our schedule was soooooo weak." After all we were picked to finish at best 3rd in the Big 10. Lost our juniors to the NFL, started a first year qb. Lastely, no one, not even us in thought we would be in a bcs game, if you look back to the posts "Michigan Picked to Win Big 10", I said, I would be happy if we won the Big 10 and went to the Rose Bowl or a major bcs game. Our season was over and all you SUPER TEAMS couldn't win, you win, we say, you lost, we rose...all year, even after losing to Ill, you SUPER TEAMS still kept losing....A Big * on cfb season 2007. Yes didn't they beat Florida St. last year? I think OSU will be fine with their defense but ya never know.
