Fans of the Big Ten (especially OSU), it'd be a good idea to start getting your concessions, escuses, etc. in order, LOL!
Make that "excuses" ... I'm gone only a couple of weeks and my keyboard starts acting up!

I was glad to be back too, but it's going to be short-lived. I just received a promotion (in title only) so I've been busy travelling and trying to adjust to that change. I'm moving in the next couple of weeks, so I have the house to take care of. Just when I thought everything was back to normal, my grandfather (83) passed away yesterday, so I have to repack and head out the door again!

In the words of Joe Dirt, "Dang!"

Just be thankful you had a grandfather. Remember that and other good things. 83 is a well lived life. I dont think any male in my family has made it that old. My grandma who is 86 says she has been on borrowed time since her mother died at 87 15 years ago in 1993. She had my grandma at fifteen and was married at 13. Thats the way they did it in the appalacians. He is in a better place seeing all of his old friends and old family members. Every question he ever had in his mind right now is being awnsered.

So sorry to hear about your grandfather. My thoughts and prayers are with you. You were so lucky to havea grandfather. I never knew either of mine, both died very young, and our daughters only knew my dad for the first few years of their lives. bless you and your family.'Mom'

Thank you for your kind words: much appreciated! I'm very grateful to have been in his presence on many occasions. He died peacefully and wasn't in any pain, thank God. It's hard to see him go, but - sorry to be cliche here - death is an inevitable part of life.

Looking forward to exchanging more posts when I return. Later...

Thank you so much. I'm thankful that I knew him and that I have a strong family; my grandmother has been incredible throughout this whole difficult time, but she's always been strong. My other grandfather died last year while I was deployed, but I was fortunate to have known him too.

Bless you and yours as well; we'll talk up some CFB when I get back.

100% of all college bowl teams TRAVEL....only 9% use it as an excuse for losing. those five are the 5 bowl teams from the big ten. the other 91% are content win or lose to go a bowl game.

<quoted text>The Badgers have no QB to speak of. There are 2 contending for the position. Evridge and Sherer. Evridge has the most experience with starting 6 games at K St. in 05. The O line is inexperienced. PJ Hill of course is the only bright spot now on the O.
The D upfront is OK, but the rest aren't worth mentioning. The kickers are no good, and the D had 26 injuries in spring practice this year. 26!
The only thing that could keep wisconson in contention this year is their tight ends, and tail backs. Seriously, they are not in good shape at all.
So much for your dark horse.
fresno on the road;last yr.had to come from behind in 4th quarter to beat UNLV(2-10),MINN(1-11)probable losses to MSU,OSU,FSU(all away)toss ups to PSU/ILL...THE DARK HORSE IS REALLY DARK.

You're assuming OSU's going to make it back for a third year in a row... don't see that happening.

<quoted text>That really was not even a pounding. it was called making mistakes. A pounding would be 300 plus yards passing and over 150 rushing. LSU did not get either. You played in your own back yard you french fried cajuan piece of shit. Dont you get it. Look at it this way retard. In bowls in the big ten this year. Purdue played Central Michigan in Michigan. Penn State played Texas A M in Texas. Florida played Michigan in Florida, and Ohio State played LSU in New Oreleans. You guys will flicker out by this season and next.
> LSU didn't need to get 300 yards rushing or passing. "31 and done!" It was like a hot Cajun knife cutting through warm Ohio butter. LSU would touch the ball and score pretty much at will. If only Ohio State had a defense or offense ... it might have been a closer game. lol! > So Nightingale ... what are you gonna do after the USC Trojans put a whippin' on your boys. You gonna go back to shadow boxing yourself for your kicks?

Your buckaroos will end up in the PapaJohns.com Bowl playing Coastal Carolina. It should be a good game between two evenly matched teams. LOL!!!
