Wait...turning the ball over is bad and holding onto it is good???? My view of the game has completely changed now. What an enlightening article. This is called...I'm a sports writer that forgot to write his piece until 10 minutes before deadline and this is all I could come up with.

Good points Jameson. Steve McNair didn't really participate in training camp last year, and began the season out of shape mentally and physically.
Joe may be a rookie but he has been taking snaps all off-season. He is healthy, ready, and knows the drill.
I would still expect a couple turnovers and sacks. Let's see how the kid picks himself up!

I am an avid Ravens' fan and didn't realize that last year they set that franchise-record 40 turnovers. So thanks, Jameson. At least your column isn't jaded like Mike Preston's writing is most of the time. And everyone knows how crucial turnovers are in the NFL- they'll make you or break you. If I remember correctly, when the Ravens won the SB, they set a franchise record with 48 takeaways. So let's hope it's closer to that than the other way around.

Boller was responsible for the more turnovers than ANY QB in Ravens history! I'm so glad he's gone!

KyleProBoller has been responsible for putting the real Bollers manhood in his mouth and blowing on it as much as possible, cause straight men such as myself who aren't in love with some LOSER awful QB to vomit upon site of all of his posts. Luckily I will not be going anywhere, cause unlike the silly nitwit KPB, i'm a real RAVENS fan, not a Boller fan.

Cupcake, That is because he was here so long: Boller 44 INT, 36 fumbles, 13 recovered. But you know what's interesting? That isn't so unusual. Two guys in the leagues for less time: E. Manning 64 INT 34 fumbles 5 recovered Big Ben 54 INT 18 fumbles 5 recovered Vinnie T (2 years as a Raven) 34 INT 20 fumbles 5 recovered.
