Dolphins report card vs. Texans

Our weaknesses were obvious in this game, but I'm still encouraged by their play today. After 4 years of mediocrity, this team is learning how to channel emotion into good play. They overachieved against the Pats and Chargers. It was inevitable that they would eventually come back to earth. It just hurt the way it came.

BTW: I know our pass defense gave up a bunch of yards, but they accounted for 2 interceptions. I don't consider that an F. We came within 7 seconds of winning. I think your ratings are a bit harsh.

As I Said before the game in another post, the Wildcat is not something you can go into a game with. The QB needs to be behind center at all times (the wildcat is good for a play or two like the one with the touchdown to Cobbs). It doesn't set up the pass at all. Run the ball with a handoff to R and R.

The team is moving in the right direction. We need DB's and WR's. We'll get them in the off-season.

What game were you watching? 3 int's, ricky ran one for 11-12 yards, ok not great but more than 10...How does the flea flicker cheapen yards? it was a great play!

I want to know what defensive coordinator would call a scheme where you don't cover the middle of the field from 3 yards out. why would you cover all the receivers that tight in the end zone when you don't cover them during the game. Pasqualoni blew that coverage. NOT ACCEPATABLE!!!

I'd give the passing game a c-. All the yards came on about 6/7 plays. The rest of the yards came on 5 yard or less dink and dunks.

Phins still need a #1 and #2 WR.

if the new seniors who may want to be drated early like the guys from either the seminoles/gators want to be drated maybe we can acquire a couple ogf good wide receivers now that the fins are playing good and not loosing all the time. one of the announcers today said there was a good reason for some of the better college players may want to get into the nfl i cannot remember what the reason was maybe we can get one or two of the better wide receivers that way.

Explain to me how you get a weighting of C- for the game with so many grades of F or D- and a lone B for Chad Pennington?
The Teaxns game was an F or D- at best, especially considering the lack of defense.

Look at the highlight reel, and see if you can guess which player failed to pick up Patrick Cobbs running full speed down the middle of the field. I believe the wildcat, if that's the trick play you're referring to, worked again. Wanna know the sad part? Kubiak himself said they were studying all the various things they can do from that formation and were preparing for them.

instead of wasting a time out on a challenge he had no chance of winning anything except maybe a brownie point from bill parcells,sparano shoulda used it to bloster up our offense just b4 he went for a 4th and inches and turned that into a 1st down,instead we punted it off and they got a td just 8 plays later.wonder why he isnt practicing what he preaches? he doesnt buy his own crap how can he expect our team to buy into it. dont say play physical and hard and lets have smash mouth ball,when u dont have the orbs to show faith in a running games that coulda pulled it off sparano .that my friend is what id call a hypocrite
