Memo to Shaq: Go find another 'dried-up pond' -- Politics, Orla...
So now Shaq wants to come back to Orlando and become a general manager. Thanks, big fella.

well said......Orlando does not need a drop out like Shaq

Shaq: "This is a great organization and an unbelievable place to play. Come help us win a championship."
Free-agent: "If this is such a great place to play, why didn't you want to play here? You want me to come help the Magic win a championship? Why didn't you stay and help them win one?" couldn't have said it any better. |

Great article Bianchi, couldnt agree more. We're not bitter we just dont want either one of you here.

Mike, for once I agree with you. We don't need this bum, nor the Hill bum. Plain and simple
|

I can't believe I'm saying this to Mike Bianchi, but ditto on all counts. Let's not have a short memory here, Magic fans. Shaq Diesel blew up the franchise once, only his ego has him wanting this opportunity.

Wow you have not gotten over Shaq leaving in 13 years? Is your heart still broken? Let it go and move on. And anyone that thinks Otis has done a great job is...lying. Was it a month ago when the trade deadline passed and everyone bashed him or how about his amazing draft selections. Fran Vasques? Shaq & Hill should try to own the Magic, but wanting to come back and help in any way possible should be accepted. They would draw attention much like Jordan did in Wash & Charlotte. You people are probably the same one that when someone appologizes you stay mad at them for another day. GROW UP! Maybe Hill for GM and Shaq for community relations like Nick Anderson is now even after he was ripped apart 11 years ago in the media of this town. Bianchi writing this article shows that not much has changed....at the Sentinel.

I love when people write "GROW UP" in all caps. Cause there's nothing that seems more adult and mature than an insult phrased as a command, shouted with force.
And I think the point of the article is that we have, in fact, gotten over Shaq. And we've realized we're better off without him now, so why re-open a pointless relationship? Let him be Phoenix's GM. Or Miami's. Or LA's. See what those teams have to say about it. |

Memo to Bianchi: Stay in Orlando because this is the only two- bit paper that would print such garbage about someone who can obviously attract super stardom and sell tickets. You Moron! Where did you go to school...SAU...Stupid Ass University? You obviously don't have an ounce of economic common sense about you.

Tony do us a favor and stay in Alabama. Yes we are over the Shaq thing, do you think we are so stupid we would let him do it again? I cant think of anything dumber than have those two coming back to Orlando to muck things up again. This article was well written and well thought through. Thank you for telling it like it is. |
|
Someone pinch me because I actually have found myself agreeing with something Bianchi has written!

I don't like Shaq. Shaq treats O-town like a spouse abuser treats his wife. He keeps hitting her and always, arrogantly expects her to welcome him back.
Get lost, old man. Take your dried up, little career with you. |

Hate inflating your ego, but FANTASTIC column! You said it perfectly.

Mike-Great article we need big daddy like a hole in the head! He's a traitor and now he is bad mouthing Miami and Riles!

Thanks for the writing my exact thoughts on this situation. I like Shaq but I dont want him anywhere near the Magic.

Very well said Bianchi. Shaq is lazy, immature and arrogant. I know from personal experience.
He's really not interested in working anymore and he would be shocked to learn what an 8-hour work day is, not to mention the often much longer work day of an NBA GM. He's also very fickle. Look at his track record. Not dendable, not loyal. |
|
|
Right on, Bianchi, right on.
Did you ever notice that Shaq also talks like he's got a jar full of peanut butter in his mouth? |

You people so lame. This franchise has won how many rings. Can you say Shaq, Grant Hill, Chris Webber, Penny, H. Grant, Billups, T-Mac, Amare (we don’t want too deal with his problems) Stoudemire just name a few. You’ve had all of the Superstars or a chance to get them and what. You need all the help you can get, from anybody other than what you’ve had for the last 5,000 years. Everyone goes to another team and win, hum. Get over it you bunch of whining jealous losers. The same is going to happen with Howard and Lewis. Just shut the team down and let them go somewhere else and win, because they won’t do it here.

One big difference Tony...Nick didn't want to leave. He loved Orlando. |

3rd in the east and going to win 50+ games with a very young team that is only going to get better....so please...put down the bottle and step away, lol |

(Shaq wouldn't put people in jail like most lawmen; he'd just sentence them to 60 days of watching Kazaam.)
LOL! Great article, Bianchi! |
