I love animals.....on my plate.

The issue should not be to not eat Spam but to have tighter regulation on the industry so these abuses don't continue. PETA wants us all to stop eating meat and that is not going to happen. A more reasonable goal should be ethical and humane treatment of livestock on the way to my Weber grill.

I love it when people talk smack over the internet. Yes, we humans are so lucky to be on top of the food chain. If only sharks can invade land, I would love to see all these "meat eaters" who talk a strong game get eaten. I guess they wouldn't be so tough!

A society that doesn't treat its animal humanely, will never prosper! PETA is a great organization that holds human to a higher standard, which is to not abuse our power and treat other living creatures with respect.

Maybe all these self proclaim "meat eaters" who don't give a crap about animals will come back as farm animals in the next life so they can experience cruelty first hand.

The only thing we here in Hawaii think about when buying Spam is price, regular or Low-salt. Being decent or not does not come to mind at all!

The problem is that PETA don't treat humans humanely or with respect. I'm sorry but killing pigs, cows, and chickens for food don't deserve the kind of scrutiny it gets from PETA when they don't seem to give a s....t about all the HUMANS starving and dying around the world

"PETA is a great organization that holds humans to a higher standard..." A higher standard than what? Human? Okay. When you actually prove your superiority, I guess I'll have to stand in line to kiss your feet.
And, it seems you would love to see humans get eaten for a change--as if they were not living creatures, or worthy of respect. That's not very godlike of you.
Your hubris is nothing if not convenient.

I was in Guam (#2 largest per capita consumption area for spam) when a health specialist recommended Guamanians to cut out eating spam. People listened and went out and bought more spam to a point that Guam for that year rose to #1, outpacing Hawaii...
So Shane, next time load up two-three double Spam Musubi's on your plate and thank PETA for the request but, no thank you!

PETA members are cruel too! If they consider vegetables, lettuce, fruits as living organisms then PETA should be ashamed of themselves. Poor lettuce can't runaway! At least a pig, chicken or cow has a chance to run before being killed! LOL........ Bunch of insane morons w/half a brain cell. If they had any, they'd really be dangerous!!! AUWE....... Shane, just go hit 2 Homeruns tonight and see you in the World Series!!!!!!!!!!
