The jets will be a 10-6 team. Then favre will leave the jets after the 08 season. If they weren't moving off long island favre wouldnt even have come here. He will still have to deal with the ny media even though they are the new jersey jets

The Jets made the move to have a bona-fide star player on their team so that they can justify higher PSL's. I say that Mayor Bloomberg and Gov. Paterson should put the pressure on the Jets and Giants that if they collect PSL's that they change from the New York Jets and Giants to the New Jersey Jets and Giants. This is a chance for them to show that they represent the constituents of New York State and City in combatting this strong-arm extortion of life-long season ticket holders who have supported the teams over the years. Since the Jets are no longer holding their training camp at Hofstra University, and the Giants have completely moved to New Jersey, then they really have no ties to New York State or City other than the name. Most of the taxes generated by the teams go to New Jersey with the exception of merchandising (jerseys and hats, for example). Can the PSL's and keep the New York name, or keep the PSL's and move your a*ses to Jersey!!!

They have a better chance with Brett than the other two options....plus he will be a leader on and off the field

I don't give a rat's HINEY about PSL's -- I couldn't afford a ticket to a Jets game or a Giants game SINCE THE LATE 70's! And I don't feel like going on a waiting list FOR 60 FLIPPING YEARS just to get END ZONE SEATS! Both teams (ALL NY TEAMS) have been sticking it up the fans' HINEYS FOR YEARS. The wealthy ones ONLY NOW complain about PSL's --- boo hoo hoo - cry me river! Learn to love the game the way I have to - ON TV! GO BRETT GO JETS!

As a season ticket holder I am hoping that Chad lands in KC, returns in October and kicks our butt. Nice loyalty J-E-T-S. Chad renegotiates his contract for the team to sign Coles. And this is his reward? Nice move bringing in Bubba Franks at TE. He's making $400,000 more than Chris Baker, the first Jet TE who actually has been any good.Class organization.

This changes nothing about the Jets, perhaps an 8-8 team. Yes, it does make them more interesting a watch to see what they will do with "the legend whiner" Brett Favre. While this could be a benefit for the Jets, it's a horrible decision for Favre. Let's hope he still has the drive to play and doesn't suddenly retire.

Jets were competitive in 90% of their games last year; they had a terrible OL and a QB that doesn't scare any team.

The Jets brought in Boomer a few years back and he was a HUGE flop An aging QB with diminishing skills. I love what Farve has accomplished but by coming out of retirement he has only pushed back when he goes into the HOF, not time. He may help Clemens and may not, remember he refused to teach Rogers. If not, then Clemens has to learn on his own by watching what Favre does in situations.

You are an idiot!

Yes, I have heard that Strahan is at least willing to talk to Jets. He is friends with Favre, already lives in NJ, and wants to play, but doesnt want to go to training camp.
