The clueless one I can see, considering I'm not exactly up on all the "new" words that keep popping up, but SPAM ???!!! hahahahaha! |

I've found that people on Topix tend to struggle with what is truly spam and what isn't. Haha.

Again stereotypical. Cant people think for themselves?
Anwers for your "thoughts" 1. I have a diploma and a degree. 2. Duh, there are road course races. 3. I have a very nice home. 4. No tornadoes in WA state, dummy. 5. Yeah, I do like country but I like a wide variety of music. 6. I not only read, but can speed read and still retain everything I have read, 7. I look "smokin' hot" in my little black dress. I like HOT in anything though, no farmers tan, I tan in a bed, may be fake, but I look good. I am sure many of the people here can relate. Don't ASSume anything. |
I live in a nice house not in a trailor, i do not smoke, i hate fried chicken, I do not buy muy cloths at Wal-Mart instead at the mall most likely at American Eagle, I do not want a heartattack, I have NO kids, I have not dropped out of High School, none of our cars are parked on our lawn, I am smarter than a fifth grader since I am in 9th grade, I wouldn't mind if Obmama becomes president but I also don't mind if McCane becomes President, what is a white hood and no I am not a racist, I do not have a union jack, and whats wrong with liking a driver. This thread is hilarious...filled to the brim with all of the NASCAR stereotypes that all of the non-watching peoples like to make up about us. They read a little bit about the sport in a paper, or see something about on ESPN and think that they are experts.
A real fan, in my opinion, is someone who loves their sport, but who knows that it has some flaws. And while you might complain about all it has wrong with it when you're by yourself, you will defend it with every ouce of your being when some NFL junky starts to put your racing down and say that the drivers aren't real "athelets". A real fan is someone who can respect all the drivers for their talents and abilities on the track, even if they can't stand their personalities and think they are actually real donkey's. And a real fan is someone who will root for their driver through thick and then, during ups and downs, through championships and DNF's, and team changes. I may be a NASCAR fan, and a big one at that, but I don't have a pot gut or a beer belly, I have all of my teeth, and I don't curse like a salior. I may not like Kyle Busch, but I can be friends with somebody who does. And I don't hurl beer cans OR toilet paper at the track when somebody I don't like wins. The people that do that aren't really fans of the sport, and they are the kind of so-called "fans" that give fans like me and others a bad rap. Believe it or not, NASCAR fans are actually a pretty good group of people! |

Tammy, it is an embarrassment to the institution from which you claim to have received a diploma and a degree. Is it possible to have more grammatical errors in a short statement such as yours? It is good to hear that you have a degree and a diploma, what good is a diploma without a degree and vise versa. I’m sure you do look smokin’ hot in your little black dress but I feel you unfortunately fall into the category of “hot but not to bright”. To quote you,“I like HOT in anything though”, ok Tammy. |

Looky here sweetie, I don't need to feel embarrassed by anything I say or do. I do not need you editing or critiquing my statements. Oh and it is possible to have a diploma and no degree, it's called furthering your education.(College) Why don't you take your sarcasm and stick it. Trust me the lights are all on in my house. Not sure if I can say the same for you. In case you cant sink your mind around a medifor let me give you a clue. You're not quite coloring with a full set of crayolas are you? My point to my message was to show that stereotyping people who enjoy NASCAR is pretty much stupid, in as that you cant group us all together. I feel you have missed the point here. So thanks for your opinions as to my intellect, but I'll take comfort in knowing that I at least have some. Ciao... and by the way it's not Tammy it's Tamara. |
It is a stereotype if one does not like what is being said, it is a demographic and knowing your customer base if one is involved in marketing. Simple sociology concludes that stereotypes are based off some facts. Though these facts do become exaggerated there is some truth behind the demographic. Do you read any Tom Robbins? |

I live in a beautiful home in fact I do have a mobile home on my property for guests but most the time I live in it more than my house. I love country music, but my clothes from SALVATION ARMY, real nice stuff, I do have a good enough education, and you are very cruel to say what you said about people living in Tornado damaged traliers, how cruel can you get? And I will say, you must be one of us also for someone who ACTS like they have it all would not waste there time on here showing how stupid you are! Hope your Trailer fares this bad weather that has been hitting all corners!

I’m happy to see you like your home. That is good, not all people are in your situation or mine where we like our homes. Your logic is what I question though, or lack there of. Sounds like you are using one of many fallacies to try and strengthen your argument. Commenting on a post has no bearing on the situation of which, where or how you live. I have not acted nor stated that I have it all. That seems more like an emotional response from you. Rather than dealing with what was said you feel the need to add things that were not present in my postings. I could probably guess what sex you are by the argument you present. Emotional arguments generally come from one sex. Tornados are not funny, but from a strictly demographic point of view the numbers sway to the NASCAR and country music fans. Good, bad or indifferent, the numbers tell the story not you or me. |

So Mr. Psychobabble, why don't you concentrate on booking clients and stop tyring to find them on opinion boards. Good, bad or indifferent. You should stick to trying to diagnose others in your own state, you have no right or jurisdiction to try and "shrink" people here. You seem to be really trying to impress people with your big words. What are you suffering from that you feel the need to compensate by putting others down or in to so called "categories"? So if you think your so intelligent, what is my psychological profile? Lets see how spot on you can get.
I'll keep in mind that what you say is strictly your opinion and not gospel, because uneducated and unwarranted opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one, and they all stink, but just for fun humor me.(*hint*) I have lots of time, because I am at home all day with a sick child. I'll be waiting. |
As sad as it sounds, we are all placed into categories unknowingly. The type of house you own, the car you drive and the clothes you wear all provide information about you. Me too, I can tell the lists I’m on and how companies categorize me by the direct mailings I receive at home. I would like to discuss the second part of your post over drinks though. A little black dress and a bottle of wine.  |
