It's enough to win a game against an elite team. Get a clue. The more you're wrong, the better it makes me feel. Rex probably would have blown this game with poor overthrows and all kinds of fumbled snaps. And don't try and bring up the first play because that was all Kreutz. Most of you need to face, just because Orton doesn't throw deep doesn't mean he can't. he plays a lot smarter. He realizes that trying to make a big play is not worth potentially throwing the game away. Rex is an undersized QB with a big arm and no vision. As Orton continues to come into his own, you'll see him get better and better. And maybe you and Rex can work at the concession stand together after he's released. GO BEARS!!! 2008 NFC NORTH CHAMPIONS!!!

I'm so sick of 'fans' that praise mediocre play of their favorite player rather than demand that player play at the same high level as his teammates. Orton played just as he did in 2005. He's no better in his overall stats than he was then. He won, once again, because everyone ELSE around him stepped up their game and excelled. Orton gets the win when the D and Forte are the ones that deserve that W on their belts. I would love for you to do a breakdown on how many points Rex Grossman or Brian Griese 'gave away' during their times at QB. But, as I have found, Orton fans don't like it when people confuse them with facts.

Wait, just wait you ignorant Orton fans, Kyle has a very high turnover percentage, without the TD passes. He was very lucky his final stats weren't 13-21 150 yards with 1 Int 0 TD and a lost fumble. Get used to those stats. Dude, they showed you the replay. Kreutz almost snapped too early and then tried to snap it prematurely before he got caught. That clearly was not Orton. That's why the play was blown dead before the play really got off. I swear. SMH GO BEARS!!!!

Has anyone seen a bigger coward than Reggie Wayne of the Colts? I was watching the game and even before the Bears were close to him he was just falling down so he would not get hit after he caught a pass. This guy is supposed to be an all pro wide receiver, looks like a pure chicken and coward to me. I don't think he has to take on linebackers head up but just to fall down after he catches the ball is pretty weak to me. Glad he isn't on the Bears. He can stay in Indy.

Pretty much no one is giving Orton credit for this win. it all came down to running the ball well, great defense, and lack of mistakes. No one can say how Grossman would have done, but even you have to admit that Orton didn't do half bad yesterday with a 62% completion percentage. His 83.4 QB rating is by no means a record breaking performance, but was quite acceptable. Even though I have been a Rex supporter and still feel like he is a better QB, yesterday really showed me that Orton is the best fit for Turner's system. Very conservative, and sometimes boring the bottom line is the Bears have won plenty of games with this formula. I still would like to see Orton take more shots down field but that probably won't happen. GO BEARS!!!

It was nice to see a RB that can out run the safety to the end zone. It has been years since the last decent RB. T. Jones was servicable but Forte looks great. Has vision, power, agility and speed what more can you want. Then to have K Jones come in and lay some additional blows is great to see. Back to the Bears game that I grew up loving.

He took what the defense gave him and Chicago dominated all facets of the game. You Rex-lovers are right though, we need a guy out there launching ill-advised passes downfield because it's fun and exciting. Will it be a TD? Will it be an INT? Who knows but darn it's entertaining. LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT FOOTBALL. Orton did exactly what he needed to do and if you weren't impressed with the plays he made on 3rd-down then you are NFL retarded and you need to find a new team to biatch about. Guys like Josh and losers like him give Chicago fans a bad name. Quit perpetuatint the stereotype you frickin' meat head.

Orton is not going to break any records, drop any bombs, but he will get you a 3rd down conversion here and there. This year the deep passes are going to be few and far between no matter the quarterback(the two leading recievers are TEs). It looks like Forte is going to be the runnungback we have been waiting for, and Kevin Jones will be a great set of legs off the bench. I'm just happy the defense walked away form the game healthy. If they stay healthy they will be much better than expected.

Reminded me of all those Orton win's a couple years ago, nothing special, but no trouble either. I think he can do that another 10 or 11 times and we can have a good year.

We won Bears fans. Give the credit to the defense, give the credit to Forte, give the credit to Orton, give it to Lovie, Ron and Bob....I don't CARE WHO YOU give the credit to. WE WON!!! We pulled the upset, we out played a very good opponent. Anyone getting caught up in Orton vs Grossman, or wanting to bash the coaches and the media has completely missed the point. A win is a win and THIS was a good, good win. BEAR DOWN!

This goes to show if Orton was the QB two years ago instead of Grossman, the bears would have won the Super Bowl.

Orton was solid. He made good decisions, his passes were crisp and the offense seemed to have confidence in him. He didn't make ill-advised passes, throw off his back foot, or fumble the snap. He was solid. Of course, I'm happy with the win, but Manning wasn't as sharp/healthy as you'd expect and the Colts were otherwise hit by injuries - both prior to and during the game. The Bears made the right decision to start Orton, but I'm not sure they could have beaten a healthier Colts team. It's a great start. Let's hope for more...
