Carl Edwards: dimpled darling or Carlzilla?

I can't possibly understand how you can be so narrow minded to state that JR. is the most important driver in the chase. All 12 of them are as equally important. Just because your favorite driver was involved in the unfortunate incident doesn't make Carl the scum of the earth. It's not like he isn't one of the drivers in the chase as well. You act like he deliberately caused the incident to purposely knock the 88 out of the event. To all JR. fans everywhere: Believe it or not, there are 42 other drivers in the event too!

I don't see where anyone said that you must be a troll and Carl Edwards is the best in the chase in case you didn't know.

Why do they call him Cousin Carl? I never liked him enough to pay attention. Usually I tune out when they mention him.

You can rag on Carl all you want, guess you forget who took care of Kyle Busch for JR.??? Give it a rest, you said it yourself, he has desire. That's more than Jr seems to have at this point. If anyone would bother to look up the facts, JR had to work for everything he got it was not handed to him.His father worked for what he had,nothing was given to him.SR did not just hand things to JR. He got where he is by hard work just like his father and grandfather.These drivers all worked hard for what they have so people need to have a little bit more respect for them.Yes some of them are jerks and disrespectful and disliked but, to say things were just given to them because of their name is just plain dumb. I like Carl but, how he did at Talladega was a bonehead move he knows that.There is nothing wrong with him he makes mistakes and at least he had the courage to admit it was his fault and say he was sorry.I hope people will stop this bull about JR can only race because of his father's name.It is childish.

Everybody wants to find an excuse for the flaws that continue to show through Cousin Carl's perfect picture of the good boy making it good. Fact is, Carl is a sore loser to the tenth power that can't take it when he's the point of critisism for one of him bone head moves. His childish backflips have endeared him to the flash and fluff crowd but most everyone that is smart enough to see pass this, sees someone more than willing to trashtalk another driver for their mistakes but can't handle it when his doo-doo hits the fan. Personally, I think he'd do better letting his Mom do his strongarm work for him. Kevin and his crew should have kicked the sh*t out of him Thursday and sent him back to Mommy to get his bumps and bruises kissed.

Well, let's look at Jr's record compared to Stewart or Gordon. Jr doesn't have half of the talent.

That's some advice you should give Cousin Carl. I've heard no mention of Kevin inviting him over to his pit. I hadn't of Kevin say anything else since last Sunday after the race so Carl should let it drop instead starting a fracas that got him put on his ass with a headlock.
